I recently had the pleasure of dining at the 9th Mile Dhaba restaurant located inside the Royal Orchid Resort & Convention Centre. My visit for lunch yesterday afternoon left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. From the warm ambiance to the delightful food, everything about this place exceeded my expectations.
To begin with, the menu at 9th Mile Dhaba offered a wide range of options, making it difficult to choose just a few dishes. After much contemplation, we decided to order the dal tadka, kadai paneer, chana pindi with bhature, blue lagoon, and butter naan.
The dal tadka was simply divine. It had a rich, creamy texture and was bursting with flavors. The perfect blend of spices and the tempering of aromatic ghee elevated the dish to another level. It was a comforting bowl of goodness that left me wanting more.
The kadai paneer was another highlight of our meal. The paneer was cooked to perfection, retaining its softness while absorbing the flavors of the spicy tomato-based gravy. Each bite was a delight, and I found myself relishing every morsel.
The chana pindi with bhature was a real treat for the taste buds. The chickpeas were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The bhature, served piping hot and fluffy, was the perfect accompaniment. The combination was absolutely mouthwatering and had us coming back for more.
As for the beverages, the blue lagoon mocktail was refreshing and tangy. It provided a perfect balance to the spicy flavors of the dishes. The presentation was also impressive, with the vibrant blue color adding a touch of elegance.
Lastly, the butter naan was outstanding. It was soft, slightly crispy, and slathered generously with butter. It complemented the gravies perfectly, and the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air.
The service at 9th Mile Dhaba was commendable. The staff members were attentive, polite, and quick to fulfill our requests. They made sure we had a memorable dining experience, and their warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. The rustic decor and comfortable seating arrangements created a pleasant atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were also maintained impeccably, which further enhanced our dining experience.
In conclusion, I highly recommend 9th Mile Dhaba to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The flavorsome dal tadka, delectable kadai paneer, mouthwatering chana pindi with bhature, refreshing blue lagoon, and heavenly butter naan will leave you craving for more. Coupled with the attentive service and inviting ambiance, this restaurant truly stands out. I look forward to...
Read moreBad food at exorbitant prices. Will avoid it in future. We ordered vegetarian food including starters, mocktails and main course. For starters, we ordered Tandoori Mushroom and Tandoori Malai Soya Chaap. While Tandoori Mushroom was OK, the Tandoori Soya Chaap was horrible. All we could taste was boiled soya grits with no tandoori taste. We ordered many mocktails but they were totally disappointing, tasting like cough or antibiotics syrups. For main course, we ordered Kadai Paneer, Mandi Wali Sabzi (mix veg curry), Sabzi Biryani, Ajwaini Naan, and Tandoori roti. Kadai Paneer was below average (even the hardcore South Indian eateries make much better Kadai Paneer), Mandi wali sabzi was worst (mixed vegetables thrown in a confusing mix of spices, no taste), Biryani was horrible, Ajwaini Naan probably didn't have Ajwain and tasted rubbery, Tandoori roti was served cold and hard. Along with bad food, their processes and service is also bad. They have foolishly used QR code and Whatsapp based ordering system. I got different bill amounts on Whatsapp and printed bill (not sure if I could sue them but difference is significant). Service is really bad despite many people engaged in it. After asking 3-4 times, one person finally brought onions and raita for Biryani. The only decent thing about this restaurant is open space around dining area where children can play. I totally regret my decision to visit this place. It was my birthday dinner with family but bad food and bad service simply ruined...
Read moreI have visited this on 16th of April 2023, and it was a worst experience for me. Please avoid this place during day time specially in summer. It is having open space sitting arrangement which was too hot. Even though the cooler (1 cooler) was running but it was worthless.
Ok, the above thing is dependent on climate. Comming to the food. Chicken biryani - better you could have Ambur hot dum biryani ratger paying bigger amount for biryani at this place. They did not even serverd a leg piece in one biryani and all the pieces were improper cuts and non of the pieces will make you feel like it is a biryani piece. I could even forget about the pieces if the taste would be good.
Dal makhani - This dish is the hidden piller of every resturant, however here it was too sweet and hell lot of butter or malai was there in it. Just in one word it was not dall makkhani.
Tandoori rooti and naan was good 👍
We did not expect this taste here. Me and my friend specially came to this place but its was pathetic experience for all of us.
Lastly we asked Miss UMA from WB, the service lady (her service was 😊) about the chef if it got changed....its was not clear but I will recommend hotel/restoration owner -- please keep good taste if you are charging 4star grade of price form customers.
If quality and taste would be good then quantity and price doesn't matter. Please do a good check for the taste authenticity for each item. Wish you all the best...
