Had been here fr my bday last week....it was arnd 1 wen we went nd hardly any ppl were der...oly 2 tables were occupied...i was wondering wat was d need to prebook...then by 2 o clock the outlet was completely filled....it was really a nice place...nd this is what I'll feel...

taste - 4.5 ambiance - 4.5 service - 5 service time - 5 staff - 5 cost - 5 location - 4.5 will i visit again - definitely yes must try - bbq fish😋😋

FOOD

STARTERS....

CRISPY CORN...not a fan of veg though...food was started wit crispy corn...yah it was crispy nd yummy...a good start...

HYDRABADI TANGDI....it was nt in d live grill...they served it on plate...it was good....nt much spicy...

AWADHI SEEKH KEBAB.....a mutton dish...i don't actually like mutton...but must say this was really yummy nd tasted diff...lip smacking....this was also nt in live grill...

LIVE GRILL... CAREBBEAN JERK CHICKEN....tender chicken pieces with apt marination...initially it was nt spicy...then we asked fr it...later they made it more spicy...it was more good den....

COASTAL BBQ PRAWNS...this was good...nothing so diff abt it...

CHILLI GARLIC FISH....this was the best one...THE SHOWSTOPPER...was deliciously yummy...i think more than dat...wld definitely revisit just for this one...

they had given one more prawn dish which was nt der in d menu...i think prawn manchurian...it tasted btr dan the bbq prawns...

PINEAPPLE GRILL...it was a combination of sweet sour nd spicy chilli flakes over it...gud one...

WISH GRILL... We tried duck nd shark...with some sauce...just tasted good...shark was weird...yet to decide good weird or bad....

MAINCOURSE... it dint impress as much as starters...

TANDOORI BUTTER CHICKEN....hw else cam a butter chicken be...it was as usual nd yummy...i always love butter chicken...the one dishi nvr forget to order...

it tasted well with butter naan they served...

CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI....this was really a let down...it was nt at all like biryani...it just tasted like coloured rice.....

DESSERTS.... I don't remember the name of all the desserts...most of them were really good... pastries were so good...bday cake was d best one in the desserts...

COMPLEMENTARY DRINK.... we apted out for BLUE ANGEL....it was soooo goodd...went really well with d dishes...it was tasting divine in btw the spicy foods....

AMBIANCE.... its a quite comfortable place...moderately lit...nd aptly placed tables....

SERVICE nd STAFF....BESTEST... since nt many ppl were der wen we went utmost imp was given...and the staffs were so friendly nd made sure they served everything on time...they made things more comfortable...nd evn asked if we wanted any changes....that was really something which many places lacks.... our table was served by Rinku...nd a spl thanks to him...

SERVICE TIME....it is so quick...i think it takes only microseconds for them to replace the empty grill sticks wit d fresh one...just perfect...

COST... its worth every penny...if u hv a really good appetite... u wont regret at all after paying arnd 700 for a meal...may be i felt it's underpriced...

LOCATION....Its in btm layout...the outlet is in 2nd floor... yah don't miss to book ur table before gng... ders wallet parking avalabile...nd parking fr 2 wheelers is also der...parking wont be a prob...

nd to conclude one of the best place for buffet...nd if der is any party this wld be d perfect place fr celebrations....it will be memorable fr sure with ur...

AB is one the best place for buffet in Bangalore. Heard a lot about this restaurant from friends and colleagues and finally able to visit this place on Monday evening. It was team dinner and everyone in the group were happy and satisfied with the food, drinks and services. If I have to use one word for AB, I would say "No. 1"

This outlet is located in main road of BTM. Easily visible from main road. They have valet parking as well. No worries with the parking. Restrurent is in 2nd floor.

Pre-booking is must if you plan to visit this place. Usually this place is full with crowd over weekend and weekdays. Very difficult to get place if anyone doesn't book the seats in advance.

We have already booked our seats for 18 people and when we entered, most of the table were full. And many were waiting outside.

Now coming to the food. Starters were smacking and delicious. AB offers wide variety of options in both categories (veg & non-veg) and the taste is top of the point. I loved all the starters from grilled table to live counter. When BBQ table is in front of you and continuous arrival of yummy food in terms of prawns, fish, chicken is amazing. Mutton seek and potato item was simply great in starters.👌👌👌

I had rabbit, duck and shark for the first time and it was absolutely 👌delicious. All these are available in live counter. Just you have to choose your food and they will prepare live in Tawa and serve you in table. They will consider your taste as well. You have to mention about your requirement in terms of spicy/ medium/ less spicy.

In main course there were many options as well, but I couldn't taste most of them as I was filled by starters and live counter bowl. Still I managed to try their white rice and mutton curry (my favorite), chicken fried rice and fish curry and veg noodles. Every dish was delicious and my favorite was mutton curry. People who loves salad this is the best place for you guys, they have many options in salad as well. I couldn't have any roti and naan because my appetite was done and doesn't allow me anymore 😋🤐

In desserts they have wide range of offering as well.👍👌 You can choose from jam Swiss roll, mango pastry, ab special pastry, gulab jamun, small rasgullas, candy, walnet brownie, live counter of ice cream pan. ( this is must try guys) and I couldn't remember of other dishes.

Service was superb and very quick. Every staff was very courteous and supportive. High 5 for that👌🙋 Ambience was good, but this is the perfect place for amazing food so automatically anyone would love the ambience. This visit will always be in my memory!!!

Price is bit high but I would say it worth it considering the number of items we are getting from BBQ table to live counter to main course to desserts.

AB is a place for everyone who loves to enjoy food like there is no tomorrow. Who has big appetite!!

Today I reviewed a restaurant called "ABSOLUTE BARBECUES" BTM layout branch.

Let's talk about packaging: I would say packaging was on point like they pack all the dish in different compartments as you can see in the picture and it is a spill proof package.

Let's talk about what they serve and the quantity: I ordered a family box veg (serves 4) - In this they serve Corn chaat, Hara bhara kabab & Paneer Tikka With Green Chutney as a apatizer. Paneer Biryani, Fried Rice, Leaf Vegitable Curry, Paneer Curry, Chapati & Raita as a main course. Gulab Jamun & a box of Brownie with Choclate Sause as desserts. Papad and salad as sides & 2 bottles of Pepsi for good digestion after a good happy meal. When we talk about Quantity it's good for 4 member's to have.

Now let's talk about food and how it tastes: Let's start with appetizers - CORN CHAAT was good and it was chrunchy from outside and soft from inside and the only thing I would suggest is that it could be little less Spicer as it was too spicy. HARA BHARA KABAB was a balance of spices and it was soft and crunchier at ends and with mayonnaise it was wonderful. PANEER TIKKA was well marinated and the grill was good because the whole paneer was cooked properly on the grill, Paneer was juicy and filled with flavours of marination and the spice was balanced and it goes really well with Green Chutney.

Main Course - PANEER BIRYANI in this dish the Basmati Rice was cooked well and paneer was juicy and cooked properly and it was very flavourful because of the spices we could eat Cashews Fried in Ghee in between and VEGITABLE CURRY was really good there was cereals, onions, carrots and the curry masla was spicy and lip smacking. FRIED RICE was good and I felt that it was somewhat dry and flavours was good. PAARTHA was loaded with aloo stuff and aloo masala was tremendous & PANEER CURRY was also good, flavorful and Spicy when you put lemon juice into the curry the lemon takes the taste to the next level.

Desserts - GULAB JAMUN was good, soft and very juicy. BROWNIE AND CHOCLATE SAUSE Brownie was backed properly we could see the parchments of the brownie when you break it and it was very fluffy and loaded with choclate, the rich dark chocolate Sause makes it even more delicious.

Overall the food was really delicious and loved it. This restaurant maintains all the COVID rules that is announced by the government.
