Mini Forest Park is a green park with its length wise dimensions much greater compared to its breadth. Its is located in the series of long length straight parks in JP Nagar 3rd phase. It is a biodiverse nature park catering to all age group categories. It is a well planned park with walkways providing access to all its parts. These are laid down with tactile paving ensuring non-slippery surface thereby providing grip. The walkways are shaded naturally by trees. From the entrance itself is visible a pergola with seaters provided with a central space mainly used by the adults for relaxation. Dustbins are provided all around the premises. A decently maintained pay and use washroom is provided within the area. There is a well planned space as children’s play area with sufficient bright coloured equipment to keep them actively engaged in the park. Walking, jogging, exercising and communicating with the other users of the park are the major activities for adults and senior citizens. The park has proximity to a number of street fruit and vegetable vendor stalls which aids the users in buying daily needs during their morning / evening walks. The park has well lit spaces all around receiving sufficient amount of daylight. Lamp posts provide light during the late evenings. There is scope for betterment considering the regular maintenance of...
Read moreMini forest is a huge and beautiful park in JP Nagar that runs parallel to the Bannerghata road. The park is named mini forest due to the vast number of trees present. The park has jogging/walking tracks, gym{for adults} and a children's play area. The park is well-maintained and has different kinds of shrubs and trees that spread across the entire park thus, enhancing the visual appeal of the park. The park also has some negatives. The park is poorly-lit because of which, some of the sections of the park sit in darkness{which could make one feel insecure}. Also, the park does not have parking, so one has to park his/her vehicle on the roads that run parallel to the park{or the roads nearby}. The park sits in the interiors of JP Nagar and can easily be located and accessed. Overall, this is one of the best parks in Bengaluru that sits in the prime locality of JP Nagar and I would recommend it as the park has all the facilities for adults{gym} and children{a children's play area having see-saws, slides etc}. Also, I would recommend if people visited the park in the mornings{the park is poorly-lit in the evenings and thus, some of the sections of the park sit in darkness making...
