I recently had the pleasure of dining at the most delightful buffet restaurant in town, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness by the attentive staff. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, setting the perfect tone for what was to come.
The buffet spread at this restaurant was an absolute feast for the senses. The selection was incredibly vast and varied, catering to every culinary preference imaginable. From sizzling seafood delights to succulent cuts of meat, and from vibrant vegetarian dishes to an array of delectable desserts, this place truly had it all. The quality of the food was exceptional, with each dish showcasing the skill and expertise of the talented chefs who crafted them.
One aspect that truly stood out was the attention to detail in presentation. The dishes were meticulously arranged and garnished, making them a visual delight. It was evident that the restaurant took immense pride in not only the taste but also the aesthetic appeal of their offerings. The freshness of the ingredients used was evident in every bite, and the flavors were nothing short of extraordinary.
The service at this buffet restaurant was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. They promptly replenished any dishes that needed refilling, ensuring that guests never had to wait for their favorite delicacies. Additionally, they were knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain any unfamiliar dishes or ingredients, adding an educational touch to the dining experience.
I also appreciated the restaurant's commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. The buffet area was immaculately clean, with food being handled and displayed with utmost care. The restaurant staff consistently sanitized surfaces, ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests.
Overall, my visit to this buffet restaurant was an absolute delight. The exceptional food, warm hospitality, and attention to detail left me thoroughly impressed. I can confidently say that this place sets a new standard for buffet dining in our city. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Read moreI wanted to try the ab's exquisite buffet from a very long time. Actually the time that you spend here is not only for the mouth watering food, but also the experience that they gift pack for you. Our buffet started with a masala lemonade as a welcome drink and then the barbecued starters. You will get a separate barbecuing stove for your table. Our starters include BBQ chilly murgh, Karulina mango mustard fish, mint lemon garlic prawns, Kadai tangdi chicken, mutton sheek kabab.
The main highlight of this place is the "Wish Grill" option where you can get to taste very rare non veg items like: Cultured Bunny, Octopus, Emu, Quail, Squid, Duck. Among these I just loved the bunny and duck. Octopus and Squid were not that commendable but was more than average in taste.
After the starters, it was our time to move on to the main course - I personally don't expect very good main course if I am in a buffet. But, the main course here was great. It had Chicken dum biryaani, mutton rogan josh, butter chicken, Dhaniwal fish curry, Srilankan shrimp curry. All of them were really tasty.
The one main item that I have to mention is that the rabdi in desserts. Wow! that was the best rabdi that I ever tasted. It's a must have in desserts.
Now talking about the experience that they offer - The first one is that, a chef who cooked your food will come at your table and ask you whether you are liking the food and if you wish you can make it spicy or more salty or however you wish. I call this as act of mesmerizing the customers. The second one is that, you will be surprised to see all their staff assemble around your table and play a music and wish for your birthday and a small cake as a gift. That's so sweet right.
This is how this truly stands out from other buffets. One of the best buffets I ever had and also the costliest one. But, I will definitely visit...
Read moreVisited AB’s Kalyan Nagar and had one of the most disappointing dining experiences. The food quality was below average, with very limited options available—only two chicken BBQ starters and one mutton starter for non-seafood eaters. The starters lacked flavor, with the crispy corn being the only decent dish. Spiced potatoes were undercooked, and the rest of the starters were bland and uninspiring.
The main course was an even bigger letdown. The so-called "biryani" tasted like rose-flavored rice with spices, and most dishes didn’t even look appetizing. Chinese options like noodles were equally bland. Both veg and non-veg curries (six options) were undercooked, with a raw ingredient smell, and the naan/roti served alongside was also uncooked.
The soup? Instant soup from a packet. I don’t need to come to AB’s for Knorr tomato soup.
Even desserts, which are usually a safe bet, were subpar. Cakes lacked sugar, with only cream being noticeable, while others were overloaded with artificial flavors. Even the ice creams tasted off. The only saving grace was a couple of sweets like shahi tukda and jamoon.
Service was good, and the staff was attentive to requests, but that’s about the only positive. The music was too loud, the wait time was high, and the AC was freezing despite multiple requests to adjust it.
For ₹1,000 per head, this place is a complete waste of money. If I had known the food was this bad, I would have opted for a street meal instead. Looking at the expressions of other diners and the amount of food left uneaten, it was clear I wasn’t alone in my disappointment.
Management seriously needs to hire better chefs or stop wasting food. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Most of the positive feedback left here are due to desperate attempts by attenders, don’t...
