14.1.2020 Tuesday post lunch it was nightmare for our family. We visited this Kamanahalli shop had some sweets and snacks there and packed Gajar Halwa and Moogdhall halwa for our daughter who 2.5 months back has delivered a baby whose food is mothers milk. I asked the counter sales man couple of times whether these are fresh and not old one. He assured its fresh and good. Back home at about 3.30pm gave a portion both halwa to our daughter. Immediately after eating she said something is wrong with Gajar halwa and stinking. I said it can't be and defended Anand Sweets reputation and quality. At about 4 pm she got a small rash on one hand. Thought it must be some mosquito bite. Rapidly it increased and by 4.30 her entire body was with heavy rashes with excruciating pain. She could not feed the baby. I have pictures of this. We were wondering what went wrong. 6th sense prevailed and I called Anand sweets and told the issue with one hindi speaking person. He said can't be the sweets as the cause. Then 10 minutes later he called back and said yes there is some problem with the ghee or oils used to prepare Gajar halwa and stop eating. He also said the item has been removed from shelf and that some more people have complained. By then my daughters position was simply critical..so rushed to Cloud 9 near Horamavu Junction and was admitted on emergency basis and administered medicines in different form. She had severe chills added to this heavy rashes. I again called up the shop and the same hindi speaking man spoke. He said sorry and any time I can come over for replacement. I told him please ask someone who can speak english as am not fluent with hindi. He said no one is available . Now my daughter is back home and continuing the medication and in bed rest. No one has called me back from the stores to check my daughter's condition. How irresponsible can such a reputed shop behave? Am exploring my options on actions and remedies...

This is a review purely based on the sanitization and covid_19 after precautionary measures. We enter the store and we see the boys wearing their masks losely without being cautious that they handle sweets and eatery and pack them with hands. A lady barges in smartly the store saying she is from swiggy without mask standing near to all the packaged sweets and when asked by the manager Prabhat he sits there without saying a word. The delivery girl then starts to argue with us that she wont wear the mask and still the manager sat there doing nothing for which we have also recorded a video. When asked manager tells they let swiggy and zomato enter the store without mask which amazed us as it seemed like we are the fools who use the sanitizer then enter the store with mask and ensure theirs and our safety. This was not at all acceptable from such a brand sweet store such as Anand in Kamanhalli. The manager should be fired immediately and also some strict measures to be taken or else i would request not to visit this particular store if you want yourself and your family and elderly safe. Its better to not consume sweets from such places. Video is there as a proof of how unprofessional...

I never expected this out of Anand sweets I am leaving this review while returning from Anand sweets a day before Diwali the shop has N number of sweet baskets and people are buying sweets like mad I saw a dead cockroach on Mysore Pak and informed one of the shopkeeper and the tray was removed immediately and I also informed the manager trust me the reaction from the manager was zero he ignored me as if it was nuthing and it was again placed on the counter just that the dead cockroach was removed .. this is when people come to your shop with trust to buy even when u guys seel u r products at a higher price.. this is just not done u can not take public for ride on hygiene.. I wish to see some chane or the food authoritys need to check these cos clearly these managers or people in store don't care .. people please refrain buying from these stores take time make at home be safe my honest advice is please don't go to outlets that does not value its...
