Arabian Mataam Restaurant — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Went to this bcoz of the hype it has gained recently..but it turned out to be a all hype no substance ... Writing a detailed review... Ambience - 3 stars .. we sat in their outside area (Not Majlees) the 6 seater table was rocking from all sides didn't have required support Grilled Mutton - 0 stars..don't fall for the pic on the menu.. we got something really bad Mutton Chops - 2 stars it was not cooked well n pieces we full of fat n not meat (rawaaz)..Try Angaar in HBR for some good chops Al-Faham Chatpata - 2 stars ..I don't think they know how to make this at all..we got some tandoori chicken and not al faham - Try Savoury or Angaar Mataan Spl Kabab - 1 star ..don't waste your money on this Laham Mandi - 3 star - can still make it better - Try Ta'am or Raidaan for best Mandi Dajaj Mandi - 2 stars - Avoid Basboosa - 3 stars - Ok ..Try Kunafa world or Barrera for some good Basboosa Overall Rating - 2 Stars .... For quality of food and Taste .. n priced really high while really good fine dining restaurants offer the same menu items with better ambience at the same price n this place is not worth it. The owners I think are a few guys from Ambur (must be good at Ambur Dum Biryani) ..n don't care...

As being your old customer I notice from the past 3 months you people are not serving food quantity as it was before and also the taste. As this shows your doing this because of more customer are coming to your restaurant so. It will not take much time for you to loose the customers and crowd please keep in mind. As their is lot of restaurants and competition in Frazer town and round. Also you people be on changing your staff that is effecting the service. As i. Have observed their is less quantity served MANDI RICE in small bowl before it was in big plate. Also grill mutton pc has made very small which is not worth for Rs.360 before they pc use to be good size. Also when ever customers comes to your restaurant you make them wait along and also you people don't follow first come first serve basis. Being your old customer request to improve the and keep how it was at the time of opening your restaurant. If you want just increase prices but please don't decrease the taste, quality...

The restaurant is dirty, not organized, menu to my surprise have been in bits and pieces. Don't know where is the starters, main course and it's special dishes? To be honest, the menu was a total confusion to me. Staff was really laid back, took their own sweet time to take my order. Finally I pinned down to a dish called Grilled mutton, though one page of the menu was INR 250, the other page was overwritten with the pen as INR 290. Finally when the dish arrived on my plate the grilled mutton to any common man understanding it should be served hot after grilling the meat, but I was caught in awe when they served cold mutton grill. Thanks to Arabian Mataam. Cudos to these guys. Finally when the bill arrived it was INR 300. The beauty about this restaurant is that they don't accept cards, no paytm, gpay etc., I had to go all the way to the ATM at 11.20 PM and pay them. So guys please I would suggest go to this restaurant at your own risk and if you want to shell out your cash....
