Known as Saits in the past with a better ambience and a working fountain which lifts the mood, now changed to Sheesh Kabab just before COVID. Mainly known and brands itself as an authentic Persian restaurant, the taste is definitely worth visiting but few things need to be made clear.
The entrance is well lit, and the today special will have deserts, starters, and other main dishes too. They have a ground floor and an upper floor seatings, and a private low chair seatings too.
The cutlery quality can be improved, sometimes the forks just bends due to its weakness. The bathrooms and handwash area need more attention, though it has tissues, and handwash.
Started with soups, which are by the way quite big despite being 1 by 2. Very tasty and reasonably priced for its quantity. I have ordered the Jojeh Baal (chicken wings), 6 pieces of grilled wings, and Kobedeh mutton sheekh. The sheekh is definitely expensive considering its just a single big piece served with naan and nothing else. I was expecting it to be served with some fries, veggies, and some sauce, although there was a serving of mint sauce and mayonnaise served in the beginning. I have also ordered Murgh Peshawari gravy, very thick with mini chicken cubes and considered bit bland if you are looking for something non spicy.
You should also try the Persian naan, its big and sufficient for 2 or more.
They also have goli soda in several flavors if you would like to recall some old memories.
Last but not least, finish your meal with a hot finger bowl, feels awesome in this rainy weather.
Overall, a good place to try some delicious Persian cuisine but an above average priced.
Shout out to Mr. Prem for his friendly and fast service.

Read moreDear Anas,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to share my recent experience at your restaurant on 19 Dec 2024 which unfortunately, left me quite disappointed.
Firstly, the starters were served incredibly late with long intervals between dishes, which impacted the dining experience.
Later I was surprised to receive my rice without any gravy. I was not informed that gravy had to be ordered separately, nor was I offered it as an option. When I realized it was missing, I felt it was something that should have been communicated clearly.
This lack of communication and attention to detail made the meal less enjoyable, and I feel that such information should have been clearly conveyed to customers, especially when it comes to menu items that are typically served with accompaniments.
Additionally, the behavior of the waiter was less than satisfactory. He seemed uninterested and inattentive, which added to the frustration of the meal.
To make matters worse, I ordered the Dal Tadka, which was absolutely unsatisfactory. The consistency was off, and I had to ask for it to be changed, as it was far too thin. Even after this, it did not meet expectations.
I believe there is room for improvement in both service quality and food preparation. Clear communication, timely service, and better attention to customers would make a significant difference.
I hope you take this feedback constructively.
In the meanwhile we will carry on our business meets & corporate dining in different restaurant.
Happy losing...

I visited Sheshkabab yesterday with high expectations, especially as someone who loves Indian masalas and blends. However, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I left feeling disappointed.
I ordered the Mashakala Mutton Rice, and unfortunately, it failed to meet my expectations. The rice lacked the authentic flavors I was hoping for, and the mutton pieces had an unusual smell that indicated they were not as fresh as they should have been. This was quite off-putting and affected my overall enjoyment of the dish.
On a positive note, the sheek kebab I ordered was tasty and served fresh, but it was not enough to redeem the overall experience.
What surprised me further was the absence of a sweet platter on the menu. For a restaurant that boasts about its Indian flavors, I expected a selection of delightful Indian desserts to complement the meal, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
Additionally, I found the overall pricing to be on the higher side, considering the lackluster experience and the quality of the food.
While the service was adequate, it's safe to say that I won't be returning to Sheshkabab anytime soon, nor would I recommend it to fellow Indian cuisine enthusiasts seeking authentic flavors and a satisfying dining experience.
I hope this feedback helps others make informed decisions about their dining choices. Let's hope the restaurant takes note of the areas that need improvement and works to elevate the overall...
