Write up after my first visit on 15th Dec: I got a message in my WhatsApp that this restaurant has been opened in the Whitefield. So I visited on a Sunday afternoon.
I have called them a day before and blocked the seats too.
It's located adjacent to Sjr tech park. Prime location lot of IT people Will pour in during the weekdays and weekend will be the families staying in Whitefield.
They have said that they are first one to introduce the Lava stone concept in India.
It's a newbie in Whitefield. Ambience was great and which provided the first impression to be good. We got seated and they kept the Lava stone and started serving the grills. We had the mix of both veg and non veg. Veg like Guava, mushroom, panneer. Non veg like chicken, mutton, fish and prawns
Grills were good in taste and felt something different from other barbeque restaurants available in this city. Masala used in the grill is the difference which is good in taste and grilled well before they serve our table. We were almost full after three rounds of the grill items served. Prawn and fish were something special than the others one. It was addictive and made us have it two times.
We had the barbeque prawns and fish for formality sake. And then we moved to the main course. Usually the main course will not be great in any barbeque restaurants. But I was surprised the main course taste was also good.
There are plenty of options in both vegetarian and non vegetarian. I got to try very few only. Mutton Haleem was also there, to my surprise it was good too. Even my kid liked it very much.
Main course that I have tasted is Chicken biryani, Shrimp curry, Mutton gravy, chicken stew, Butter chicken masala. All the gravy was good in taste. May be it's the first time, felt different from others I will know after a few visits.
Desserts were also equally good. Then finally finished with the icecream.
There were good dance performances by the team to make the lunch time more Joy and Fun. Few customers joined them and enjoyed dancing with them.
Service was good. They kept asking for feedback and ready for customisation if required. They are doing a great job in serving the food as per customer needs.
Non veg Buffet is priced at 1300 per person on Sunday. It's slightly higher than their competitors. Can be looked into this a bit.
I have clicked the pictures of the place and food items served on that day
Overall I had a great dining experience at this . Looking forward to...
Read moreWish I could give 0 star. We had a bad experience last Sunday, we had booked table for 10 at 1:30pm and got a confirmation message on the same. We were running late so ranged the resturant and informed them we will be late by 15 mins kindly hold the reservation. Around 1:45 pm we reached the restaurant and found ourselves in kisok. The incharge went missing when we asked for table, restuarant was full, no table available, no manager around or any incharge person to help us. Utter kiosk environment. We were 7 adults, 3 kids,1 infant and 2 toddlers and all were waiting for the table to settle down and no arrangement was made. Really this ruined our Sunday afternoon. Later one person shows up and says we only booked table for 5 people. We explained and showed the message we received post booking directly from the restaurant which confirmed 10 people. He again vanished in air. We waiting till 2:25 pm n left to other restuarant. Really if this your way of treating customers then it's pathetic. Meanwhile we saw the food they served. The waiter used kept the fresh food near the entrance door and it was just beside the used plates. Please maintain some hygiene. We pay good amount of money and trust these restaurants for clean food. Please ensure you stick to your words. When you say reservation / confirmed booking please keep those many seats available at that time. What's the use of booking the table. Also about vallet parking- horrible we were told parking full , go and park anywhere you need at the gate. Really not expected...
Read moreI recently visited ASF for lunch, having been drawn in by the promising reviews. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Despite the staff’s enthusiastic efforts to ensure our satisfaction, the food fell short in flavor, making us feel that our investment was simply not worth it.
While the concept of using ancient stones for grilling creates an intriguing dining atmosphere, the execution was lacking. As a vegetarian, I was particularly disappointed to find that the kitchen cooked both vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters on the same stone. This not only compromised the taste but also raised concerns about cross-contamination—something that should be avoided in any dining establishment.
On a brighter note, the nostalgic touch of their flavored Pepsi—served with ice packed with a variety of refreshing flavors—was a hit. It seemed to bring joy not just to the kids but also to many adults at the table. However, this small highlight did little to offset the overall dissatisfaction with the meal.
Despite the staff's genuine attempts to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable, it's clear that the kitchen is where the wheels are coming off. They put in effort, but the quality of the food simply did not meet expectations. Based on my experience, I can't recommend ASF.Don’t be swayed by the glowing reviews; sometimes, a place just doesn’t live up to the hype.
If you're considering a meal here, I advise caution. There are plenty of other options where the flavors actually...
