I recently had the pleasure of dining at Essotto Restaurant, located on the first floor of the Essotto Recreation Hub on ITPL Main Rd, opp. Vydehi Hospital. The entire building, still under construction, holds the promise of more exciting ventures to come. My overall experience at Essotto was exceptional, and here's why:
Food (5/5): Essotto Restaurant offers a delightful mix of Italian, Chinese, and Indian vegetarian cuisine. My party of three was pleasantly surprised when the friendly waiter recommended their signature starters: "3 Pepper Cheese Roll," "Chicken Tikka," and "Chicken Manchurian." Each dish was a burst of flavors, and the portion sizes were generous. For the main course, we savored the delectable combination of tandoori roti, butter naan, and chicken curry—a truly unforgettable experience. The quality, quantity, and taste of the food were all top-notch, deserving a solid 5/5.
Ambience (4/5): The restaurant's ambiance is inviting, creating a warm and comfortable setting for a meal. Though it's still a new establishment, the decor and atmosphere were pleasing. I gave it a 4/5 as there's room for improvement, but I anticipate that as the Essotto Recreation Hub completes construction, the overall ambiance will only get better.
Service (5/5): The staff at Essotto Restaurant went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly, and the waitstaff accommodated us to our seats promptly. The waiter's recommendations were spot-on, and their attentiveness throughout the meal was commendable. Service receives a well-deserved 5/5.
Value for Money (5/5): One of the highlights of Essotto Restaurant is its reasonable prices. Considering the quality and quantity of the dishes, the value for money is exceptional. Whether you're a group of friends, family, or colleagues, Essotto offers a budget-friendly yet gourmet experience.
Kid-Friendly Environment: The restaurant's kid-friendly environment is an added bonus. Families in the area or surrounding neighborhoods will find Essotto a perfect choice for a pleasant dining experience with children.
In conclusion, Essotto Restaurant has quickly become one of my top recommendations in Bangalore. I eagerly anticipate the opening of the Essotto Recreation Center in the building, as it promises even more exciting possibilities. Don't miss the chance to try this gem—perfect for family dinners and gatherings with colleagues. Kudos to Essotto for an outstanding...
Read moreAbsolutely appalling experience at Nura Restaurant
My recent visits to Nura Restaurant have been nothing short of a disaster, leaving me utterly frustrated and insulted. The service is pathetic, and it's clear they have zero respect for their customers. Last week, I ordered the Chicken Biryani, which was part of a offer. I asked for onion and lime pieces not once, not twice, but three times, only to be ignored. On my fourth attempt, the server rudely told me they don’t have time to serve onion, lime. When I escalated to the manager, he arrogantly declared they don't serve onion and lime with biryani on offer – something they conveniently failed to mention when I first asked! To make matters worse, he then dismissively told the server in Hindi, "do piece laake dedo" and when I pointed out I wasn't eating for free, he retorted in Hindi, "Abhi aapko khana hai ki nahi?"
This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable.
Hoping for a better experience, I returned today and ordered the Veg Biryani. The same server brought the plates, but then I was made to wait 20 minutes for the biryani. When I asked if it was being freshly prepared due to the long wait, they confirmed it was. However, upon arrival, the biryani was barely warm, clearly not fresh as they claimed. They purposely made me wait for such a long time.
It seems Nura Restaurant views customers who opt for their "offers" as beggars, treating them with disdain and utter disregard. The management's arrogance and the staff's unresponsiveness make dining here an incredibly unpleasant experience. I would strongly advise against visiting Nura Restaurant if you expect basic customer service...
Read moreSo the bad reviews you read around surely do check out. I'm just adding my 2 cents to it. Pathetic is an understatement to their quality of service. It was beyond disrespectful. Let me explain- The assorted Indian breads with curry took forever to arrive while other tables (including the ones who arrived after us) were being served biriyani, sizzlers and pizzas. We asked our server once (politely mind you!) and he said "2 mins" (as if!) and the second time we asked, he hid in the kitchen and never returned. He only stepped out when we left and I caught him 'gossiping' with his peers about us. We should've ordered drinks earlier cus they took another 30 mins just to serve them. They had the nerve to charge us service charge after all they had put us through. If you thought this was a family friendly place, please reconsider. Bottomline: the food is decent but there's no way I'd put myself through this! If you want budget friendly food, go the extra mile and check out the lovely places at AECS layout. This dumpster with its 50% discount isn't really worth it :) (I'd give zero...
