This review is solely for their à la carte menu and staff (night). Not for their buffet or the rest of staff or restaurants.
We'd visited b cafe last night and ordered 5 dishes - Mezze platter, Latte, 2 HOT CHOCOLATES, TIRAMISU, AND A BOMBAY SANDWICH/TOASTIE whatever they call it.
The Mezze platter was fine and edible. The latte was as a latte is, again fine.
We had specifically asked for thick and super chocolaty hot chocolate. But, were served HOT COCOA. When we asked one of their servers about it, he asked for time to speak to someone and never returned. Later, the person who was apparently managing the cafe said "oh the person who took the order didn't know that the kitchen staff has already kept the chocolate sauce and all inside." Sure, okay. But the people/person who made the hot cocoa would know right, cuz the order slip would have said HOT CHOCOLATE and not HOT COCOA. Dunno why they wouldn't inform the server of the same and why they wouldn't have informed us.
Then we received the Bombay sandwich/toastie whatever, the plating itself was shabby, the fries were just re-heated and yet cold, little burnt and unevenly fried. The toastie looked sad, was cold and had none of the fillings of a Bombay sandwich. Surely people have their own definition of a Bombay sandwich, but at least at least serve it hot and in a presentable manner with a little more than 2 slices of cucumber and 1 slice of a tomato and some sev unevenly stuck to the sides.
The tiramisu was a soppy mess, no discernable layers, and very milkshake like. This, after asking their staff about how old it is and if it's a part of their regular menu, he said "yes yes, this is". Because he said that the Bombay sandwich/toastie was not a part of their regular menu. We ordered from their physical menu where the sandwich is mentioned for sure. Also, with the dessert we were only given 1 dessert spoon. And to get more took a bit of time and dumb charades, cuz they didn't just come to the table (outside). I used to assume that it is common courtesy to bring out spoons according to the number of guests at the table. But, not with them I guess.
The staff at B cafe (night) were utterly clueless and honestly pretty useless. Their communication amongst themselves and with us (guests) was BAD. Inarticulate wouldn't do justice to the situation.
Everytime a complaint was raised, they would disappear for at least 10-15 minutes.
In the end I asked them to give me a piece of paper and a pen to write my review, cuz of how horrible the whole experience was, I waited for 20 minutes and then gave up.
Even for the bill, to get their attention took a while. I had to call the hotel's reception to ask them to call b cafe to get us the bill. We paid the bill and then I wrote a review to the GM at the reception.
I understand 5 star and premium and brand and what not. But, the quality of service at b cafe and food (à la carte) are nothing that say or even whisper either of...

We came here for the New Year's lunch buffet and liked most of the food.
The spread was great from starters, cheese, dips, salad, main course and desserts.
They only had a veg roll and Crab roll in the sushi section, no other fish/ sashimi so didn't try their sushi.
Was very excited to see the pasta station but the raviolis/ tortellinis didn't have much filling and the pasta suaces were raw tasting.
Although there was lobster on the grill station but when we went 15 minutes later to get some it was over and they said they couldn't replenish it back so that was a bunmer as I was really looking to taste some grilled lobster tails. They should increase the quantities for buffets IMO.
The dimsums were great but they didn't have any chili oil/ chili crisp and when we asked for some they said it would take time. The sweet and sour plum sauce they suggested isn't the best fit for dumplings.
They had a customisable soup station where we could add our preferred toppings on the Laksa but it was not hot. By the time we ate it was lukewarm.
Enjoyed the table side magic show, very interactive and fun but didn't appreciate his generic comment on women being emotional so he would pick only guys to participate in his magic show.
The desserts were great. Loved most of the pastries. Wish there were more ice cream flavour options as we only had vanilla, strawberry, kesar pista, butter scotch.
There were many options of wine, cocktails for the alcholic package guests but for non alcoholic would have like more options other than Virgin Mohito, Lemonade, Coke/ Sprite and water.
The service is great whenever we asked for something they were happy to help.
Also pay via Swiggy of you want some good deals...

The buffet spread was nothing short of elaborate. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of freshly baked bread and brewing coffee filled the air. The selection was extensive, catering to every preference:
Bakery Delights – A beautiful display of flaky croissants, buttery danishes, donuts, muffins and an assortment of artisan breads. The live waffle and pancake station offered golden, fluffy treats topped with fresh fruit, whipped cream, and a variety of syrups.

International Flavors – Traditional breakfast classics like crispy bacon, sausages , miso soup, noodles sat next to more diverse options—dim sum, shakshuka, and fresh baos for those craving something different.
