To the amazing chef, Your food was as close to heaven on earth as We have ever seen or never tasted this kind of food 😘 Thank you so much for the AMAZING food šŸ˜šŸ„°šŸ˜˜ Absolutely Authentic Italian equisetum šŸ˜ Great place to good Italian food. My favorite & first preference to dine with friends for every special occasion. Heavenly šŸ’“ flavour . Before that though I had a pizza which was made for me with various meats and vegetables. And they decided on this lovely pizza . Truly satisfied & a mandatory visit for a tiramisu lover. The panoramic view of Bengaluru Palace from the top gives you a taste as well as a pleasure to see. It is well-stocked with wine and champagne. Please have a hearty meal with the proper amount of food made by your lovely chef.

At first, we were given a complimentary portion of Italian breads and dips to start off with, soon followed by appetizers such as duck puff cannoli which was remarkably exquisite followed with pasta entrees, were delightful.

This Mediterranean restaurant with more focus on good Italian food. good ambiance. Place is a class apart. The Italian starters & the desserts were amazing. Their signature salad (mozzarella cheese with cherry tomatoes) had nothing extravagant but neatly fresh, good taste with reasonable portion. The black cod was perfectly cooked, as well as the vegetables. And for dessert, tiramisu & For dessert I had the Tiramisu, which was deconstructed and served to you, genuinely one of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve ever had. ginger peach panna cotta were extremely refreshing. Pinot Grigio (white wine) was served at the right temperature & that completed my kind of light Italian lunch that beautiful Saturday. The food was outstanding- especially the four cheese pizza! surprised but genuinely impressed by the quality of the food here. Had the prawn Gamberi for entree, and it was delicious, the pork crisp really accentuated the dish. The main of mushroom ravioli was also great , flavours were balanced and it was not too heavy, a slightly small portion but the flavour made up for it. You will have a nice view on the town. There is also an outdoor terrace for the smokers. The dishes were made from fresh and tasty ingredients. The drink list is exhaustive. The service is very attentive. Amazing restaurant & ambience . Highly courteous staff . Delicious food & excellent presentation . Shangri la did just that with out of the world service and mind blowing views. What a lovely place it is & went for the wine dinner here & loved every bit of the service and the courses served. The staff is very well behaved and courteous ....

Last Sunday afternoon, I had the opportunity to visit the restaurant Caprese at the elegant Shangri-La Hotel.Vasanth Nagar. The restaurant is located on the 18th floor of the hotel and has a splendid view of the Bangalore Cantonment. My friends, my fianceƩ and I collectively decided to take a table in the open space of the restaurant. Immediately after being seated we were informed by the wait staff about the Tuscan pop up. Being an avid Italian food lover, listening to the waiter give detailed description about the appetizers, entrees and desserts was a pure bliss.

At first, we were given a complimentary portion of Italian breads and dips to start off with, soon followed by appetizers such as duck puff cannoli which was remarkably exquisite followed with pasta entrees, were delightful. And for dessert, tiramisu and ginger peach panna cotta were extremely refreshing. And a hat tip to the wait staff for recommending quality wine that rhymed well with the entrees.

With great ambience, fine wine, very cordial wait staff and great attention to detail dishes, my luncheon at the Caprese was a memorable one. I would definitely love to come back to this restaurant with a set of new people who could have the same exquisite experience, preferably for dinner, would not want to miss out on some fine dinning experience coupled with the Bangalore night light. Five...

Let me begin by acknowledging the enjoyable aspect of my visit—the mushroom soup. Its flavors were commendable, offering a brief respite from the overall disappointment that followed.

I chose the truffles menu and I unfortunately had to hunt for truffles (quite literally) in the dishes.

I must admit, the attempt to combine various elements in each dish was interesting. However, the execution fell short as the flavors seemed to clash rather than complement each other.

The pasta dish, in particular, left much to be desired. The peculiar brown color and the taste akin to store-bought pasta were unexpected, especially for an establishment of this stature.

As for the pistachio tiramisu, it was, unfortunately, a far cry from the classic dessert. The addition of an unusual Essence-like flavor left us perplexed and disappointed, particularly given the expectations one holds for a 5-star hotel's restaurant.

Despite these culinary missteps, I must acknowledge the pleasant ambiance and the service.

Given that the cost was 6000+ for 2 without drinks, I certainly expected more and must regrettably rate it...

If you're looking for an elevated Italian dining experience, literally and figuratively then Caprese at the 18th floor of Shangri-La Hotel is a must-visit. The ambiance is simply stunning, with elegant interiors and breathtaking views that perfectly complement the refined menu. From the moment we arrived, Vishal and Tushar made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warm hospitality and attentiveness truly enhanced the overall experience. Now, on to the food: The wild mushroom bruschetta was a standout perfectly toasted, richly flavored, and beautifully plated. It's the kind of dish that sets the tone for the meal and leaves a lasting impression. And then there's the tiramisu, easily one of the best in the city. Light, creamy, and just the right balance of coffee and cocoa. A perfect ending to a memorable meal. Highly recommended for date nights, special occasions, or just when you're in the mood for great Italian food with a view.

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. This place is located on the 18th floor of Shangrila hotel. Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Value for Money: 3/5 Ambiance: Decent interiors with a spectacular view, with both inside and outside seating. Food: 1. Pizza Con Polo E Gorgonzola Pizza: The pizza base was little hard. and the chicken did not taste good. 2. L'ANGOLO Della Pizza: Classic hand stretched and long fermented dough, topped with fresh ingredients and baked to perfection. Desserts: 1. Vaniglia Panna Cotta Ai Frutti Bi Bosco: Vanilla panna cotta served with black berries, fresh mint and italian meringue. It tasted good. The presentation was great and the vnilla panacotta was also good. 2. Frittelle Della Nonna Con Zucchero Caramellato: Freshly baked frittelle with custard filling and caramelized sugar. It tasted OK. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Service was quick and fast.

Went for a dinnner with Chef Mattia Bianchi, Restaurant AmistĆ  and arranged by Marcella Salvagni few months ago. Horrible Dinner! Risotto was under cooked. The chef was asked to prepare another risotto because of this mistake which again was very bad that it was too salty. Starters with prawns was also very bad with too much tomato sauce. Too many mistakes. As usual chef and team was blaming the tools. A bad chef always blames tools for his/her mistakes. A very bad chef! Pathetic! I was wondering who the hell gave him 1 Michelin star for this dirty food? He is not even capable of preparing good Italian food as per my experience on dinner. Spoiled the whole evening and dinner. Chef Sundararaman used to be much better in my opinion as I used to be a regular customer at this place, and I had rated him like 4/5 for his nice food.
