Booked for New Years eve for 3 adults accompanied by 2 kids below 5 years. This booking was made through bbq app itself and there was no option to select kids below 6 years. On reaching the venue right on time was made to wait for 10 minutes which is okay considering it is nye. But then the manager forced 5 of us to sit on a 4 seater table even though a bigger table was available. He then argued we should have selected 2 kids in the app even if they were leas than 6 years old. On telling that the app doesnt allow to add kids below 6 years he opened his app to show there is an option and then later said his app is not loading so I showed him mine. He further argued that we should have still chosen 2 kids and that we would not have to pay for thekids below 6 years. This was ridiculous since how does a customer know. A small table for 4 cramped with such young kids who would not sit straight with a live burning grill is a danger in itself but the manager did not want to listen. His attitude was not worth the experience barbeque nation strives to give and was shocking. Anyways, since I was stuck and could not go elsewhere we decoded to compromise and then the service was horrible. They told us the lock in time was 1.5 hours and we sat on the table at 9:30 pm. Till 10:15 pm what was served was a plate of French Fries, some crispy fried corn and burnt soya chaaaps on the grill with all starters over burned served on the grill. Asked for cajun potatoes multiple times and yet no one bothered. Finally left the table at 10:20 pm from the restaurant. The manager justified the delay saying the zero spicy customisation took so much time. I wasted my time, my nye and ruined my mood to go went to eat a pizza at dominos because of all this with 2 kids who stayed hungry as well. I even told the manager I would give zero rating and he didn't care even then. An event that was supposed to be a celebration became a night mare. NEVER COMING BACK TO BBQ NATION EVER ! Oh and I have hosted a huge party with catering from Atmosfire by Barbeque Nation and been to their outlet multiple times in an year and this experience was rude, shocking and unforgivable because if you cant treat your customers right when its peak season for you and orders are pouring in you dont deserve them other...
Read moreI would be rated "0" aswell. It's a kind of marketing strategy by selling unlimited buffet. But one should think the word unlimited buffet means what actually it's an LIMITED BUFFET at the cost of unlimited buffet.( STARTER LIKE PRAWNS, FISH, MUTTON SHEEK AND MUTTON GRAVY )
On 26th of January our school friends organised an meet and we were meeting eachother after almost 20 years and we have chosen BBQ nation as our preferred lunch location. We all reached around 1.30 pm and note it's an pre-booked table for 15 members.
And asusal they started buffet and they have started with veg even though we are ordered nonveg as they commented that nonveg starters are getting prepared eventually they made 30% of people fulled with veg starters that's the strategy. After 10-15 mins we got chicken after another 5 mins we got some fish and prawns not more than 2 or 3 sticks each.
We requested them to provide prawns and fish bcoz it is very good at BBQ and literally they were not serving it even after reporting to manager 10 - 15 times response were poor and it made us to move to buffet counter where there also we had shockers that mutton gravy is exhausted and no piece in it whereas they have not provided mutton sheek due to mutton gravy was part of the Menu and afte again complaining to the manager they have filled mutton gravy and this time it's an bouncer the gravy consist of only bone and no piece in it.
Eventually we ended up with salads. Jamoons,.some desert and icecreams.
Noted - even to provide hot water they made us to request atleast 10 times.
And the billing time. It was faster than der buffet service with service charges and we made them to remove service charges and fought to have some discount as the service was below par
So one should really think on to visit the BBQ nation Lulu mall branch
It's not an Unlimited...
Read moreReview of Barbeque Nation – A Disappointing Experience
I had one of the worst dining experiences at Barbeque Nation, and I feel compelled to share it so that others don’t fall for the hype. What was supposed to be an enjoyable buffet turned out to be a complete disaster, thanks to their appalling service and total disregard for customer satisfaction.
To begin with, the staff was extremely inattentive and dismissive. We were made to wait unnecessarily even when tables were available, and once seated, we were practically ignored. Despite multiple requests, no one bothered to address our concerns or provide timely service.
The buffet itself was a huge letdown. The variety of food was shockingly limited – not at all what you'd expect from a place that advertises itself as a buffet restaurant. To make matters worse, once an item ran out, it was never refilled. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like starters and desserts, only to be met with excuses or complete indifference.
What’s even more frustrating is the arrogant and careless attitude of the staff. There was no apology, no effort to rectify the situation, just plain ignorance towards paying customers. For a restaurant that claims to offer a premium buffet experience, this level of negligence is unacceptable.
I strongly condemn Barbeque Nation's poor service, lack of food options, and utter disregard for customers. I will not be returning, and I sincerely advise others to think twice before wasting their time...
