Echo Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Aesthetic and relaxing ambience with indoor and outdoor seating, very limited food options and drinks, very friendly staff, nice service, and quite expensive!

Food: The food and drinks menu is very limited as this place is relatively new. They might upgrade the menu in the future. We ordered a few dishes such as Asparagus Katsu, Sriracha Chicken Wings, Gunpowder Calamari, Amrut Whiskey Infused Garlic Prawns, Thai Green Curry and Jasmine Rice, a Gin and Jamun fruit cocktail, a Vodka cocktail, Vodka Shots, and Chandon Brut (a sparkling wine).

There were no lamb items. No naan items. Even a sparkling rose wine that I ordered initially was not available. Prosecco was not available by glass either (despite being mentioned on the menu). For a restaurant/bar that's situated inside Marriott group of hotels, that's a shame in my opinion!

Ambience: Very aesthetic, peaceful, and relaxing. Easy to have conversations in the outdoor area.

Service: Excellent. Staff are helpful, very polite, and even got us Garlic Cheese Bread from outside the restaurant as it wasn't available with them.

Pricing: It was definitely on the higher side. If not for the 50% off Eazydiner offer at the time of writing this, it can get extremely expensive. Even the taxes are high (18% GST overall). By the way, "MBP" in the menu mentioned just beside the price in MRP stands for Mariott Bonvoy Points.

Visited the lounge on a Friday night for birthday celebration. The place has a great ambience but is extremely unhappening and poorly managed. Don't go at all by the glittery images, it doesn't get better after the initial impression.

Extremely dead scenes on a Friday night with the management not even trying to make it lively. Very forgettable and generic music being played (the kind you might get on a customer care wait line) The menu even makes it worse, there are not much options to choose from especially if you're vegetarian. The food is average, the portions are unsatisfactory, and the service is unimaginably late. Any dish we ordered would at least take a good 40 mins to arrive, EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE NO OTHER GUESTS. The drinks were verryyyy generic and had minimal alcohol content, you're better off drinking a mocktail as you won't be fooling yourself.

The staff was very warm and polite though, full points for that. But in a place like bangalore, there are uncountably better options for both vibe and pricing. One is better off just going to any of the Social (bellandur one is not far from here) The lounge (restaurant?) is unfit for families [as there are not much menu options], for celebrations [ as pricing is very absurd for the quality] or just general partying [ totally dead vibes ] Feel pity for the staff though, they were very cordial. But still do yourself a favor...
