Boba bhai — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I recently tried Boba Bhai for the first time through a Zomato "Deal of the Day" and, while I wasn't completely dissatisfied, I wouldn't place another order. I opted for two drinks: Hazelnut Coffee with bubbles and Irish Coffee with boba.

Starting with the positives, I was quite impressed by the packaging—it had an aesthetic appeal and felt premium. However, I was a bit disappointed to see the drinks delivered in plastic bottles. Given the price point of ₹239 per bottle on a non-offer day, I had expected glass bottles, especially considering other brands in the same price range use more sustainable packaging.

As for the drinks:

Irish Coffee with boba pearls: Unfortunately, this didn’t meet my expectations. The coffee itself was very diluted—felt like only 5% coffee with 50ml of milk, with the rest being ice and water. I expected a thick, smoothie-like consistency with the boba pearls, but it tasted more like flavored water. Rating: 2/5.

Hazelnut Coffee with bubbles: This too fell short. I couldn’t taste any of the coffee or hazelnut flavors, and the drink felt like it was mostly water. Sadly, I had to discard half of it. Rating: 2/5.

Overall, for the amount I paid (around ₹438), I expected a richer, more flavorful coffee experience, especially given the promising presentation. I think there's room for improvement, particularly in the consistency and flavor profile...

I took Taro lava bubble it was black current ice cream smoothie with tapioca pearls Had to say packing was impressive (with a glass jar and eco friendly paper straw )

Was really yummy (better than previous boba drink I tried at bublee sip it pop it) I can say this was one of the best boba drink I had till now

My matcha boba experience was disappointing – the drink tasted oddly salty and way too sweet. If you decide to give it a try, go for their best seller, the blueberry boba drink. 🥤
