Lake is good but you should not go there if you are not Kannada. Today I went there for walk with my friends and was shocked with incident happened to us. We got tired after a hour walk and sat down in bench . We were seating calmly and were checking are mobiles for big billion sale. There were 3 men exercising there. All of sudden one men say Go and we asked what Says in Kannada Go which we could not understand. We spoke to each other in odiya what he is speaking . He shouted on us for no reason. I checked with lady security, she supported him saying we should not speak . Matter is he got irritated as we were speaking in our language. It is a lake in Chinnappanalli, near Brookefield in Bengaluru. To go there you have to get down at CMRIT College and walk for around 1.1 km. The lake is small but calm and peaceful. There is a children's park attached to the lake. The lake has a footpath around it for walking and jogging and a few stone benches are also there for people to sit and relax. The lake is best for locals around that region to spend their evenings. The park is also spacious enough to play badminton with friends and family. The area from CMRIT College to Chinnapanahalli Lake is an ideal place for street shopping for small decorative items and handmade things. Cleanest lake I've been to in kundanahalli. It is located in aecs layout, A block. Cleanliness: as mentioned, the lake itself and the paved path around it is well maintained with trees tracing all around the lake. It has 2-3 entrances and one of these is via an open sewerage which definitely needs to be taken care of. Lot of mosquitoes around it and of course there's a stench at all times. Jogging/walking lane: The track is around 850m. It is paved, hence easier for running. Kid friendly: Has a few equipments for kids including a swing, slide, seesaw!
