Chai Point - Royal Meenakshi Mall — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Inconsiderate - Inhuman staff!

With limited seating area centred for both an ice-cream parlor and this Chai Point, the staff were inconsiderate to a point where they drove us out suggesting that the place was meant only for their customers. Without meaning to sound entitled/elitist, I requested that we be allowed seating (atleast for my mother) for just a few mins (just 5-10mins tops) because she's aged and we also had some bags. One of the rude staff members demanded that we leave despite my repeated requests and suggested that if we wanted to sit we should order at Chai Point, else leave immediately. Anyone at the mall is out there to spend some good time, but you will stoop to this low level if they're not "YOUR" customer, right?! I understand you're a business, but I think you all have forgotten that you all are human beings and deal with human beings as customers. Anyway, with no better expectation from your group here at Chai Point (Meenakshi Mall), I'll make sure to never order from you and spread the word about the kind of courtesies you all exhibit, in my circle so that atleast we're all spared of you're misbehavior! Thank you so much for your disservice and good luck with that...

This review is going to be slightly different. I do happen to visit this place in Meenakshi Mall sometimes and enjoy the ginger tea they have. Today too, I had gone there and I left my mobile on the table while leaving the shop and didn't remember it. While leaving the mall, when I hunted for my mobile, I couldn't get it. On going back to Chai Point, I did get my mobile, thanks to Madhu (who was at the counter) who kept it. I really never expected to get back a mobile from a shop in the mall. I don't know who got my mobile from the table and gave it to Madhu.. But thank you so much Madhu and the staff of Chai Point... This act will never be forgotten....

Disappointed with the Service

I visited Chai Point recently and bought a cutting chai for ₹135. The tea itself was good, but my experience with the staff left me quite disappointed. I requested an extra cup to cool down the tea for a baby, and while the counter staff was ready to provide it, one of the staff members, named Vijay, behaved rudely toward the other staff for simply sharing a small cup.

Such behavior felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I expected better customer service, especially considering the premium price of the chai. This experience left a sour note, and I hope Chai Point takes steps to ensure all customers are treated with...
