I've been going to Donne Briyani House since it started, which is in a different locality just inside 8th Main. It's been over a decade since they came up, and I only remember that this place was packed during lunchtime.
Due to the massive influx of people and the small old space, they moved to the entrance of the 8th main, where it is currently located.
I've been consistently going to this place for a decade; however, that has reduced over a couple of years. Today, since I was at the bank close by, I decided to have lunch at Donne Briyani House and ordered a plate of Mutton Briyani.
To my surprise, there was a delay in serving the Mutton Briyani; the servers had become lethargic, so much so that someone had to go and call the guy to clean the table, which someone had previously consumed.
The taste of Mutton Briyani was terrible; there was not much taste, and the pieces in the Briyani looked scary. Overall, I was highly disappointed with the food. I'm unsure if the central chief has left the place, and these guys are doing it alone.
No wonder I noticed hardly any people coming into the place to consume the Briyani. I hope ð that quality is back on the table; if not, you are looking at...
Read moreWe tried Mutton Biryani, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Pepper Fry from this hotel. Honestly, the food was just okay. Definitely not worth the price they charge.
The Mutton Biryani (â¹250) was disappointing â it seemed like the rice and mutton were cooked separately and just mixed before serving. The rice tasted like plain rice bath, not flavorful at all. No gravy was provided, only some raita â which is not acceptable for a biryani meal.
Service and cleanliness were also lacking. Plates were not properly cleaned, and tissues were not provided unless we asked for them.
For the amount they charge, you can easily find better food with better ambiance elsewhere.
One positive point â the North Indian staff could speak Kannada, which was a pleasant surprise.
My suggestion: Skip this place and explore better...
Read moreIt's small shop located below titan showroom. When u entered the shop u must get the tokens then u must have to wait atleast 10-20 min in table. This is not a self service. If we waited for the specific time to get the awesome Donne briyani in the dry leaves. We tried the chicken and mutton briyani just a awesomatic taste we can try once u cross this hotel. Chicken Kebab is no oily and less masala. Quantity is medium for one more person, so it wil be full. Less spaces in this hotel so we must wait for the table. If we planning for 5-7 persona at lunch it's fine. Then price for 5 members approx 900 RS/- so it's cost wise ok, not bad. Please check out my image for sharing...
