Been there few times. In fact, every time i go to Chickpete. And everytime i have found them duping gullible first time customers in some new way. I'll list some of these tricks:
The Dabeli that is displayed (garnished with black raisins and pomegranate) is not what you get. Instead what you get is regular mashed potato filling sweetened with sugar plus few groundnut seeds. If you ordered vada pav, you'll be asked if you want masala vadapav or normal. Obviously if you are someone like me who likes it spicy, you'll say masala. Get ready to eat that same Dabeli i mentioned above. (Lesson: order normal vada pav) You'll be asked (mostly in an intimidating manner) if you want one plate, and of you happened to say yes, you'll find yourself paying double of what you expected and also eating two pieces of the same thing. (Lesson: make it clear to them that you want one piece (if that is the case) and not one plate).
