House Of Tadka - Flavors of North — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Not a great eatout. We ordered Harabhara kabab, Gobi Manchurian for starters and Phulka & Paneer Do Pyaaz for main course. We had clearly instructed not to make anything spicy.

Harabhara kabab was ok but the salad next to it tasted yuck and somewhat soapy. Too much of soda I guess. 🤮

Gobi Manchurian was too spicy. We could not finish the dish. 🥵

On complaining, the owner was courteous to apologise and offered to re prepare.However we declined.

We were hoping for a better main course but the Chef’s consistency prevails. While the phulkas were ok, the paneer curry wasn’t great. It was bland and slightly bitter.

The only thing we enjoyed was the cucumber salad 😃

The owner is a good guy and we had a good conversation. But the overall food taste and quality should improve to...

Recently Visited this place. One of the best places to eat. First thing noticed their hygiene... cleanliness. Nobody can guess that service hall is there inside & it's quite nice. Very friendly servers.

Served food was very tastier n hot. You cannot compare any other restaurants food. Manchow Soup was very good. They serve in stainless steel thali.

You can sit comfortably on sofa chairs.

Pocket friendly prices. Here also I'm posting the bill. If 4 of us go to other nearby restaurants Bill will be about 2 to 3k. But here the prices are lower compared to other places.

Self service is also there.

They have Chats N Coffee/Tea point, which may be the best coffee place. Good rose milk is available here. Separate Rest...

Visited this restaurant recently — while the taste was decent, the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to the pathetic service. Shockingly, there was only one person handling everything: taking orders, serving food, and even cleaning tables. As expected, it took forever — 30 minutes just to serve basic chaats and 45 minutes for the main course.

To make things worse, we weren’t even given proper cutlery or water tumblers. Basic hospitality was completely missing. No matter how good a restaurant’s food is, service is equally important — and here, it was really, really bad. Totally mismanaged and far below expectations. Would not recommend until they seriously improve...
