IDC Kitchen 🍛
Their name itself has Idli, Dosa & Coffee. These are famous for their three items. Their menu has varities like IDC Special, Evening Special & Jain Special. There were some of Day's Special too. Outlet is renovated.
I ordered Pudi Idli Lemon Idli Thatte Idli Masala Dosa Khali Dosa Onion Utthapa & Coffee.
• Pudi Idli - Thatte Idli topped with Chutney Powder & Ghee. Served with Ginger Chutney & Coconut Chutney. Pudi Idli was too tasty. It was a great combination with two types of chutneys. I personally suggest Pudi Idli from the menu.
• Lemon Idli - This was something new from the menu. It was Day's special item. Lemon Rice Paste is being tossed & mixed with cut Idlies. This is very unique to the menu.
• Thatte Idli - Normal Thatte Ildi served with Coconut & Ginger Chutney. Idli was hot served.
• Masala Dosa - Crispy Dosa stuffed with smashed masala potatoes. Tossed with chutney powder. Dosa was yummy and good in taste.
• Khali Dosa - 2 Dosas served with Coconut & Ginger Chutney. Khlai dosa was soft & thick.
• Onion Utthapa - Onions topped of the dosa and roasted both the sides. It was soft and crispy too. It was a good combination with chutneys.
• Coffee - Normal Cothas Coffee.
Overall IDC Kitchen is a decent and good option to choose for South Indian Cusine in the locality.

Read moreYou would be mistaken if you assumed that this cafe exclusively served IDLI DOSA and COFFEE. My friend and I visited this restaurant for our evening snacks and guess what..! We ordered everything(not exactly everything) except idli dosa coffee...
The restaurant's located in the prime location of Gandhi Nagar, easily accessible and has plenty of free parking space. It offers both indoor and outdoor dining options but self service.
We ordered Dahi vada, Mini medu vada, Kesari bath, tea and fresh sugarcane juice with mint flavour. Within no time we got medu vada, kesari bath and tea. sugarcane juice took little time to squeeze the juice from sugarcane. But it took almost an eternity to serve Dahi vada meanwhile we took photographs, photographs with multiple angles for our reels.
The kesari bath looked amazing with its beautiful hue, the pineapple flavored bath really did taste amazing. The medu vadas were krispy and almost round in shape but had too much oil. Tea was good but the highlight was sugarcane juice, it was refreshing and tasteful. The real disappointment was Dahi vada, it wasn't soacked well in dahi and dahi did lack the flavours.
The place is maintained well and clean. Prices are pocket friendly, good place for quick bites or to have a sip of...
Read moreSearched for some of the good breakfast places in Bangalore and this was one of those places which was less crowded compared to Vidyarthi Bhavan.
Since we didn't have time to wait in line, we went to this place instead, pricing was decent and the food was good as well. Just that the service was slow and you have to wait for a longer time to get your food.
Even though there's a token system, people just grab the dish from your hands if they had ordered the same dish saying that it's their order, which is kinda rude but we didn't care since we didn't want any issues over our head for as small as a breakfast.
Also ordered coffee and chai, and I can safely say that Bangalore is only good in making coffee...
