Let’s walk today to the authentic Punjabi place where you will get tiered not in the traffic of Bangalore, because they have 10 Outlets in Bangalore which is not far for any one. You will get tiered with having so many varieties from the menu. I had to take rest after having so Wonderful and tasty food. The taste is same at any outlet and the taste consistence is always. I had the privilege to go to their new out let at the Rajajinagar - Rajajinagar is a residential locality and business hub in the west of Bangalore. To start with tried with Veg Seekh Kabab with the lovely Mint chutney which was again getting melted with one after the other. Oops please have it HOT only.

Now some authentic Whole wheat Aloo Paratha with the lovely butter, green chutney and sakora curd. It was made with whole wheat flour, mashed potatoes, spices & herbs.
Later tried Sarson ka saag with the spices such as ginger and garlic. Its recipe is a traditional Punjabi sabzi made with mustard leaves and spinach. Wow I felt for some time with the lovely ambiance and this food I was at Punjab. Oh yaar, chal apne Pind chalte hain.

Read moreAfter visiting Kapoor's Cafe I remembered an old Hindi Proverb - "Naam Bare aur Darshan Chote" meaning - Big Name & Small Experience. & I Actually Mean It.
We heard a lot about this place that it is very good for Punjabi food. We being from Northern parts of India always crave for that taste here at Bangalore. Hence, decided to visit here & were high on expectations.
The ambience was good. It took us some time to get a seat. We ordered few parathas, which were just Ok-Ok in taste. No question on Lassi for any Punjabi place, it's always good.
Next we went for Rajma & Curry with rice. This was the peak of disappointment, as we have been tasting these 2 things our entire life, they are household food items & they taste good on any given day. Even a road side food vendor in North India would give you a better Rajma & Curry then here. And I can vouch on my words.
On the top of it, food items are extravagantly costly (almost 2.5 to 3 times). This can be understood, considering the fame & also to some extent the location where it is located. But fame should never be misused.
If you ask whether, we would visit this place again, my & my team's answer will be a "Big No".
I would rather visit any road side Punjabi Dhaba on the outskirts of a city & eat there happily. Their food tastes are much better than here, the only compromise maybe the aesthetics. But, when your tummy is filled with good food, then who cares about aesthetics. If you talk about costing, that may fall cheaper even after including the food & travel cost. As I have already been to no. of those Dhaba's hence can...
