I had visited this hotel today on the occasion of the Ugadi. I had experience to the worst this time. This is not my first visit, all the other time the service and the food quality was extermily good. But today is not the day I guess. The Management was worst, when we raised our voice saying this is wrong, the female who was in the counter told us to get out. It was dam visible that waiters were less, the management should have taken the action but no, there were not at all bothered about it. I waited to get a table for an hour(which is fine and understandable during festive occasion) but serving is the main where one item was servered after 10-15min later by the time Joladh Rotti comes all other palya's were completly cold and dried out. I got pricked when chitranna was served beside our table but they mentioned it is over for us. When we asked this could have informed us before, they keep their mouth mum. But I got pricked when the management was asked us to "GET OUT" (they used the same words) when we raised our voice for not serving properly. None of the management were ready to accept their fault over here. Worst on the management they don't know how to handle the huge crowd and one table is getting served and other table was not getting servered . When I tried to call waitier to put some extra palya they were giving a look as if they don't care.
really upset and not worth to visit again...
Read moreVisited this restaurant today with my wife and two kids (5 and 9 years old) for the first time. We ordered full meals for us and a plate meal for my son but didn’t take a coupon for my daughter since she eats very little.
After a 20-minute wait, we got our seats and started enjoying the North Karnataka meal. Being from Hubli, this food is routine for me, but my wife, from Malnad, enjoys NK meals.
The waiter courteously served banana leaves, including a small one for my daughter. She took a piece of roti from her mother, a little kalu palya, and asked for some carrots. The waiter, with care, picked carrots from the salad and served her.
Suddenly, the manager tapped me and said, “Sir, no sharing, my boss saw it on camera.” I explained that the waiter served her without us asking, but he insisted, “My boss saw it on camera.”
After paying ₹682, I felt like walking out immediately, leaving the meal. How much could a 5-year-old eat? Does the owner really expect us to buy a full ₹250 meal for a few bites?
Forcing such rules while claiming to be a brand—just because of some celebrity photos—makes no sense. In my 17 years in Bangalore, I never felt bad about food experiences, but this NK-based restaurant made it happen. I’ll leave it to the public to decide.
My son didnt eat rice n we didt ask for extra roti or icecream at all. Afterall self respect comes...
Read moreHad to Visit this Restaurant on my Wife Suggestion no proper parking also and then we got our meal tokens for the whole family After a long wait we got the seats
Due to heavy crowd the staffs were busy on every table which is assigned for them to serve but a person started to serve us he was not Server accordingly to his dress attire after I keep on asking for everything and reminding him he started getting the food items
At one point of time I had to ask brinjal curry for 2nd serve With an attitude he said as first empty other items on the leaf I was like 😲 I have paid for an unlimited meal and he's like No first eat other gravy on ur leaf We ask for wt we like to eat again that's our wish But I felt like I was having my meal accordingly to his wishes without paying for the meal..
Immediately I felt like to walk out for such an attitude which I never felt in any other hotels of Bangalore
Better to hv in any other North Karnataka style hotel for even a lesser price with quality food and behaviour Than paying for such an expensive meal here with such an attitude.. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದುಡ್ಡು ಆಟಿಟುಡ್ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಆದಂಗೆ ಆಡ್ತಾರೆ..
Never ever I recommend this Restuarant to others or I will visit myself again
