Greetings, food lovers! 👋🍽️
Let me introduce myself: I’m Alina, a proud foodie since 2014 and a former executive at Hilton Group. One of my favorite hobbies is exploring new foods, restaurants, and experimenting with dishes, especially anything chicken! 🍗
Now, let’s dive into my recent experience at Kabarbiq, which, sadly, left me feeling frustrated, disappointed, and, honestly, quite emotional. 💔
I’d heard about Kabarbiq from friends and always noticed the crowd outside while passing by on my way to fitness classes. So, a group of friends and I finally decided to give it a try. What a mistake that was! 😞
Firstly, the noise was overwhelming. It felt more like stepping into a busy market than a restaurant. 📢🛒 You have to wait forever just to place an order — the staff is severely under-equipped to handle the crowd. We waited 25+ minutes just to get someone’s attention! 😤
Once we finally ordered some non-veg platters, veg platters, and an unlimited option for one friend, it took another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. When it did, the first portion was just "okay," but the second round? Oh boy, what a disaster! 😡 The chicken was overcooked, drowned in masala, and had the texture of rubber. 🛑 The veg platter was even worse. The veggies weren’t fresh, and the paneer, baby corn, and mushrooms were frozen, with a bitter taste and overwhelming spices. 🥶🍢
When we informed the staff about this, they played the blame game, pointing fingers at each other. Eventually, the floor manager came over, and I was shocked by his attitude. He refused to accept any feedback, couldn’t make sense of our complaints, and it became clear he wasn’t trained in hospitality. 😖
After arguing for what felt like forever, he finally admitted he’s only been in the industry for three years and is still learning. While I understood his struggle, the back-and-forth wasn’t helping. After 40+ minutes, they agreed to replace the food, but by then, our plates had dried, our moods were ruined, and we were beyond frustrated. 😔
Here’s my point: if you can’t handle the crowd, why allow so many people in? Why not adopt a reservation system like other restaurants? The manager even argued about that! I realized he’s just a young guy trying to survive, like all of us in our professions, but the problem isn’t just the staff. The real issue lies with the higher management and the so-called CEO who are busy on social media, gathering fake reviews and ignoring genuine feedback. 🧐🤖
Please don’t be swayed by fancy Instagram reels and ads. I didn’t sleep for two days after eating this unhealthy, poorly cooked food. 😵💫🥴
I’ve had over 1000+ buffet experiences across Bangalore since 2016, ranging from local buffets at ₹999 to luxurious spreads at ₹9999 in 5-star hotels. This was, by far, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. 😢
So, foodies, beware. 🛑🍽️
⚠️ NOTE To Higher Management: Please don’t dare to place blame or take any action against your innocent staff and manager because of this review or feedback. Instead, focus on leveling up your processes and services! 💼✨ It's time to upgrade your team, management, technology, and systems. Invest in healthier food and rebuild trust through authenticity. If not, mark my words — you might be packing up for good...

Read moreMe and a couple of my cousins went on a Sunday to have the unlimited bbq feast(four hundred something per person). First off, I saw in multiple reviews that parking isn't available, so we parked our car on an adjacent road and walked to the place, just to find out that parking does exist from the restaurant end? I'm not sure if it is paid or unpaid though. The place wasn't too overcrowded. Since it was the three of us, we got a seat as soon as we arrived. There is no reservation system in place, as I had called beforehand for the same reason and they informed me that it's a first come first serve basis. I did see some groups of more than five people waiting for around 30-45 minutes before they got a seating arrangement. As already mentioned, we got the bbq feast, which comes with 6 types of barbecues, which included corn and pineapple as well. One of the chicken barbecues wasn't done properly, it was quite uncooked on the inside, but others more than made up for it. The corn fried barbeque was the best in my opinion. We were also provided with two types of sauces, one mayo and another one I'm not sure, but both were pretty good. We also got unlimited coke in the order, and some rice with curry as well as one roti per person. The service time for the initial plate was around 10-15 minutes, which was pretty quick considering the number of tables. Also, we got food for the three of us in the same plate, but we did get individual smaller plates to eat it from. But after the initial order, when we asked for refills, it did take a bit of time. But again, considering the amount of food we got the first time, and the rush, we were okay with it. I also saw in some places that the unlimited bbq feast offer holds good only during Monday to Thursday, but that isn't true. It is for the whole week. Overall, the food quality was awesome, the service was good, and the atmosphere...
