SCAM Sweets
According to Sangam Sweets -
"Keep Bengali Sweets in Fridge within an hour from the time you buy from their store" OR In my opinion it's better if you carry your fridge along with yourself.
I bought one of their sweets Malai Cham Cham yesterday around 9 PM and around 11 pm int he night I kept in fridge today morning around 11:30 when I took out the box. The whole box was filled with stale food smell. When I took it back to them they are saying you can't keep Bengali sweets out of fridge for more than an hour and top of that one of their worker is keep on saying that someone would have told this to you yesterday itself.
So instead of arguing further I thought of leaving the place without any sweets be it fresh or the stale food which I carried with me to show them.
I am sharing this here due to just one reason that everyone must have this knowledge that either they should carry Fridge or they shoutstay near to this location so that we can buy and immediately keep it in fridge within an hour. Else be ready to have your money spoiled due to lack of...
Read moreThis is a classic case of what started with big bang has finally fizzled out! What started out as an awesome place has now been reduced to horrible outlet. I had Aloo Bonda there around a month back and got terrible desentry after that. I had vadha paav there two weeks back again. Stomach upset. To top at all, the staff is extremely rude. There is this one specific guy(i think he is bihari and little chubby) who walks around as if he owns the place.- i will give an example- There were two types of ghevar kept, and I asked him “Are these two same or different- his response was “can’t you see it is different” “Dikh nai raha alag hai !” And then gave me a disgusted look and rolled his eyes ! I was too stunned to respond almost in shock that how can you talk to me like this . I have no idea what has gotten into the staff! Where do they get so much of Attitude from? I think the owner of the place really needs to put them in their place and let them know. They do not own the place and cannot talk to the...
Read moreI recently visited Sangam in HSR Layout to try out some of their popular street food items. I ordered Pav Bhaji, Dahi Chaat, and Vada Pav, and overall, the taste was really impressive. The Pav Bhaji was flavorful, buttery, and had that authentic Mumbai-style taste that makes you crave more. The Dahi Chaat was refreshing with perfectly balanced sweetness, tanginess, and crunch. The Vada Pav also stood out – soft pav, spicy vada, and chutneys that gave it a nice punch.
While the taste and presentation were satisfying, I felt the pricing was slightly on the higher side. For street food-inspired dishes, the portions and prices don’t fully justify the cost. It’s definitely delicious, but if you’re looking for budget-friendly options, you might find it a bit expensive.
That said, if you’re in HSR Layout and craving authentic Mumbai-style street food in a clean and comfortable setting, Sangam is worth checking out. Just keep in mind that you’re paying a little extra for the ambiance...
