Fallen into yet another scam today. I went to KFC, Satellite Town today with my roommate and then we ordered 6 pieces fried chicken and one burger and also one Pepsi. After that the cashier told (I think it was the manager who was in the billing counter) me to pay an amount of ₹810. He asked us whether we are paying by cash or UPI method and we told we will pay by Gpay. Then he proceeded to tell to send the money to his personal Gpay number and not in the UPI code available there. I was kind of reluctant at first but my friend told me it’s okay and since he was paying I agreed. Actually the QR code placed there was of Paytm and there was some discount available on it as well. But since both of us didn’t have the Paytm application on out mobile we chose to pay by Gpay. But anyway after the payment was done, he provided us the order immediately and we went with our food onto our table. Then I realized I did get the bill and we asked the cashier (another person was there now). He went inside and contacted the manager and the manager told me he will get me the bill in 2 minutes. Why the hell does he need 2 minutes to get the bill if the bill was already printed during the time of our payment? I knew there was some scam in this as he asked us to pay the money to his personal account rather than the KFC account. Then once we got the bill, the bill items consisted of different items than what we consumed. There were 2 dips added in the bill which we didn’t even buy and the amount on the bill was ₹814 but we paid ₹810. This is so crazy. Guys have anyone else encountered this same situation? I need KFC to look into this matter...

Ordered a 12-piece chicken strips bucket from KFC through their app. What did I get? A bucket with 9 chicken strips, a random leg piece, and a side of disappointment. To top it off, the food arrived cold.
First, the delivery driver called, confused, claiming my order had vanished into the hands of another Ola rider, with KFC staff also clueless and suggesting I cancel the order—a feature not even available on their own app! After repeated calls, we finally received the bucket with a messed up and cold order.
