🍺 Long Boat Brewing Co. – A Detailed Review
Location: Marathahalli, Bengaluru Theme: Viking-Inspired | Craft Brewery | Multi-Level Experience
🌊 Ambience & Design
Long Boat Brewing Co. is one of Bengaluru’s most visually arresting brewpubs. The space draws heavily from Norse mythology with a Viking-themed aesthetic, complete with a massive indoor waterfall, a longboat suspended from the ceiling, and a combination of wood, steel, stone, and greenery that evokes a Scandinavian tavern reimagined for the urban jungle.
Designed by Nilay Patalia Architects, the architecture blends raw industrial elements with lush greenery.
Sprawled across three floors and a vast outdoor area, it comfortably hosts 800–1,000+ guests.
Seating options range from communal tables and barrelling tops to private corners—great for everything from casual nights out to corporate events.

Absolutely captivating ambience with a subtle touch of tranquility wherever you pick a table. The Christmas season decoration was spot on but it was unfortunate that they had to cover the pond to accommodate the decorations.
Food and Drinks: 5/5 We were a bunch of gluttons who stopped here for the first meal of our day and we ended up ordering quite a lot of food that was extremely well prepared and even well presented both in terms of visuals and the kind of crockery they were served in. My top picks for starters: french fries, crispy corn, onion rings (had a slight pakoda-vada crossover. A must have). Our fellow non-vegetarian friends loved the buffalo wings and smoked chicken tikka as well. The milkshakes we ordered were extremely thick, filling and had quality ingredients. The veg dum biriyani was slightly underwhelming given our Meghana biriyani standard but that can be overlooked. The desserts were amazing- chocolate truffle and the Ferrero rocher entrement were creamy, had the perfect amount of sweetness. The latter dessert is a must try!
Coming to the drinks, the Fool's wit and Chocolate stout were good picks. The fool's wit had a zesty lemon taste while the stout was rich, creamy with a caffeine after taste and was very filling. The Mai Tai was a bit too citrusy for my taste but still, it was presented well and quality ingredients were used to craft this cocktail. The red wine sangria was filled with a lot of fruits, was mild and refreshing to drink.
Service: 5/5 It was a lousy weekday afternoon during the vacation season of December and though hardly any tables were filled the service was pretty quick as expected. Our orders were taken very quickly and yummy dishes made their way to our tables just as quickly. Service was more than satisfactory and a pleasant addition to the vibe of the place.
Though the dishes and drinks are on the slightly pricey side, they made up for it in terms of quality and quantity and presentation and the overall experience of dining was the value for money card one should look for and Long Boat Brewing definitely has a winner's hand here. Friends or family or colleagues, take them to this place and you won't be...
Read moreOoo the ambience is so good..! It has 3+1 floors. Ground floor has the small waterfall/stream area with a corner dance floor. The music is much better than "CatchUp" Bangalore at HSR. Food: The food is good but needs more variety to be added. KungPao Chicken is very good but quantity can be little more for ₹385. Pizza is not that great. We had ordered Pesto Exotica Chicken pizza.. it could have been better but it tasted more like green spinach veggie pizza and less of Chicken pizza. But One can try the Barbeque Chicken Pizza, I think that would taste much better. The price they charge is 595 for BBQ pizza & 695 for exotica one. I felt Byg Brewsky's is always worth it at ₹550 with ample chicken cubes which Long Boat was missing. Foo Young is a fluffy egg omlet but it tasted ok for ₹205. Veg Exotic Pizza was good but all their pizza lacks stuffing. More Mushroom, Onion, Jalepino, Olives stuffing could enhance the flavour. As it was very simple and doesn't feel exotic as it lacked stuffings. They need to add more starters like Shoola Chicken which is very soft and juicy and tastes good. They have wide varieties of desserts..One can try that. Drinks: They need to add more beer varieties. But Beers are Good👍 There are lot of competition close by so they need to top their game up to sustain in the game. LIIT is ₹975 but it wasn't strong at first but when I asked he did too that and made it strong. Mocktails are pricy but tastes good. 👍 Glass of Coke cost ₹100 😀 but it's ok. Service: Service is top notch 💪 👍 I had interaction with Jerry, Ronit on the 3rd floor and they were very friendly and professional, Humble and respectful. I was about to give 3 ⭐ but due to great service I am forced to give 4🌟 Ground floor, Ashwetha I guess her name was.. She is a princess in handling customers. Overall it's a good Instagramable place & visit for good memories but food might not disappoint if you order...
