We reserved for a birthday celebration at Iron hill last week. Before I write down my experience with this place I would like to tell the cons,

So when we did the reservation we were not told that any kid below 13 age would not be allowed to sit outside, if we had known that before we wouldn't have booked in the first place. So when we reached the restaurant the person showed us a table which was inside and we absolutely did not like it because it was nice and warm there we wanted to sit out and enjoy the outdoor ambiance. so a big miscommunication.

We are also requested if they could arrange us for a cake because it was a birthday party that we wanted to celebrate and they confirmed that either we could order from them or get our own. But at the table when I asked about the cake they were really shocked as if they were hearing it for the first time and then they said that they have to make the cake fresh and things like that would you take anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour after an hour the cake arrived and 2 are at a surprise it was a cake from Amma's pastry. They charged 700 rupees for half a kg cake. Again miscommunication.

That restaurant where we were given the seating that is inside was very very very noisy. Reservation was around 12:30 and only 10% were occupied in the whole restaurant and still did not want us to give sitting outside, telling us that people smoke outside this is really sad because there was such beautiful space outside in the greenery where the kids would have loved to enjoy and have the food.

The price of the food doesn't match the quantity the positioning is pretty small compared to the price.

The women's toilet was pretty stinky.

Definitely not a place for families with kids because all of them get stuffed into a room which makes it really really noisy and which takes away from the experience.

One more thing I noticed was though there were tables that where not occupied...when we checked out, we so quite a bit of customers waiting outside....

pros.

The Ambience is very beautiful, especially outdoors, it's huge and it is spacious.

The food is tasty.

The deserts are really really good.

The service is excellent.

One thing that I really like to watch instead of strong is really innovative and nice.

Regular water is free.

The live music is good but again since it is inside it added to the already...

We went for Team lunch as suggested by one of my colleague that this is best place to hangout with friends. Couldn’t say it’s that good as there Pros and Cons.

About place:

Place is excellent and no doubt about it.

Service was too bad. We were waiting for any server to attend us for nearly 30 mins. No one heard us / see us waving hands. Literally we personally went to one of the server for ordering.

I guess most people come for taking photos not for food 😂

The seating wasn’t that comfortable which we selected as the roof was made of glass and that made us burn our skin on a sunny day 😢

As that’s open space, there were no fans in some of the cabins which is ridiculous to show partiality as few had even coolers in open space 😏

The DJ sound which was quite loud and couldn’t even words from the person sitting next to me talking. We go for restaurant to chill out with friends for talking / enjoy sharing things not just eating food and listening music.

Last but not least, it’s a valet parking and the driver who drove my car didn’t handle well. It was handed over to them as a water serviced car and got delivered it like drenched in rainy mud path holes which was completely covered with full of dirt and MUD all over the side doors, front bumper and front mirror 😡

Coming to food part:

I’m very good foodie and enjoys the taste of food with heart. May be the expectations lead me to disappointment as the taste hasn’t reached my benchmark.

One and only Chicken POPCORN is most loved item and delicious 😋 Ordered twice. Fish and Prawns were not good 🙁 Tried some mock-tails which were terrible 😝 Beers and drinks as usual 👌🏻 Don’t wanna go in depth about it as nothing left me impressed regarding food 😖
