Today, my wife, brother, and I visited Malnad Brahmins Kitchen for lunch, and I can’t believe it's just 50 meters from my house, yet I hadn’t been here before! It's a small, cozy spot with just four tables, but the experience is far from small.

The owner, an aunty, is incredibly humble and treats you like family, feeding you with the warmth and care of a mother. If you eat less, she'll even scold you lovingly to eat more for strength! The food is an authentic blend of Malnad and coastal vegetarian Brahmin flavors – light, non-spicy, and not greasy. If you’re health-conscious, this is the place for you.

At just ₹85, you get a wholesome meal that includes dry vegetables, dal or gravy, kosambari, papad, one chapati, rice, sambar, sweet, and buttermilk. Extra chapatis are only ₹20 each. It's not just tasty; it's incredibly affordable!

Overall, I’d give this place a 4.9/5. The aunty and uncle running the place are elderly, so don’t expect express service, but considering their age, they work pretty fast! Be ready to wait 10-15 minutes, but trust me, the taste makes it worth it. With a bit of interior work in the future, this place could feel as fancy as any upscale restaurant.

Like few of customers already expressed feedback, I too had bad experience mainly for delayed service. On event day, planned lunch time was 12 pm. Guests visited accordingly. However caterer team visited at 1.20-30 pm. To add further on this, contact phone numbers were not functional (switched off), hence we could not connect anyone. It was embarassing moment as we did not know what to do and what to say to guests. We were in search of alternative in short notice.

Food quality was good and authentic however some guests complained about food not being served even asked by them. Cordinator denied this and said it can't happen. Reason of delay was traffic. They could have considered some pre- planning, time buffer.
