This has definitely been the experience of a lifetime. Rather than starting off with the dishes that we've had, i would like you all to know they have the best service in town. Saju and Telson had been exception in checking in every now and then to see if we required anything. Truly commendable in spite of having customers at every table!
Coming to the food, we had payyoli chicken fry and trust me when I say this was a fine rendition of it since I am a native and have had various takes on this! The succulent chicken with the flavourful mix of grated coconut, jeera and green chilly was truly amazing!
Moving on to the main course, we had ordered ney choru, appam, ney pathiri along with Naadan kozhi malli peralan. I honestly can't find anything to scrutinize! Everything was cooked to perfection. My wife is quite picky when it come to appam since the centre of the appam tends to be a bit thick and yet she enjoyed the one served here - reminiscence of the time back home.
And last for desert, which I am always sceptical about given how most restaurants overload them with sugar, we ordered Ada pradhaman paaysam and tender coconut payasam. Both of were really tasty but since I am a fan of hot paayasams, this one really hit the spot. The Ada pradhaman was so good, that it left me wanting for more
Kudos to the entire team for providing us with such a great experience!! Would definitely visit here more often with family and friends !!
Unfortunately we did not click more pics of the food :(
2nd Visit This is our 2nd time at this restaurant and kudos to them for maintaining such a high standards and exceptional quality!!
highly recommended Kerala cuisine restaurant! Their Appams and Kerala porotta were really good, the latter being the best in town!
I would definitely also recommend their Ney Pathal ! The main course dish of Chicken Mappas was lip smacking good and was a great combo with the bread option!
My wife loves deserts and for that reason we ordered the coconut pudding. Definitely a stand out desert but in all honesty, their paaysams are told good !! That is, ofcourse a personal opinion!
Now although the mint lime may seem to be a bit too green but that's just the perfect balance of lime and mint in it.
As always, the service was exceptional and Rahul, who waited our table was kind and prompt with his service!

Read moreIf anyone has been craving for authentic Kerala cuisine in Bangalore, your search ends here. I recently visited Moplah's for breakfast, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight (though be aware, breakfast is only served on Sundays).
Initially, I was a bit skeptical since I was the only one there, but by the end of my meal, I was incredibly glad I made the trip.
I had been longing for some Puttu, and when I saw they had Cheratta Puttu on the menu, I was absolutely thrilled. For those who are not familiar, Cheratta Puttu is made from powdered red rice steamed in a coconut shell – and trust me, it’s as authentic as it gets. The moment I took my first bite, it transported me straight back to my childhood, reminding me of the times my mom used to prepare it for us at home. To pair with the Puttu, I went for the Nadan Chicken Curry, and let me just say, not a single bite was disappointing. The combination was pure bliss, with flavors that spoke volumes of Kerala’s rich culinary heritage.
If that wasn’t enough to win me over, I also tried their Malabari Podi Chai, an authentic Kerala style tea that was the perfect finish to my breakfast. It is definitely not something you come across often, and it added an extra layer of uniqueness to the experience.
In terms of comparison, I would say Moplah's is on par with Vembanad by Paul – a bold statement, but they truly know their Kerala food. While I have only scratched the surface with breakfast, I’m already looking forward to exploring their lunch and dinner menus. I’m hopeful they’ll be just as exciting as the morning meal and at the same time will be able to deliver the same quality and taste with increased volume.
A special thanks to Mr. Shakthi, who kept me entertained with talks about the restaurant and its menu. His warmth and hospitality really added to the experience.
Without a doubt, I’ll be back for more. If you’re a fan of authentic Kerala cuisine, Moplah's is...

What is good here at Moplah's :
Chicken Biriyani - 430 Erachi Ularthiyath - Rs 490 Palada Paysam - 170 Payyoli chicken fry - 395 Kerala Parota (2pc) - 95
The food at Moplah was nothing short of amazing. I had both in-person dining and delivery experience. I've sampled their Payyoli Chicken Fry, Erachi Ularthiyath , Kerala Parota, and Malabar Chicken Biryani thus far. All of the dishes were exceptional and of the highest quality. It gave me a quality of a 5 star food. I would highly recommend trying all of the above dishes, as the quality was exceptional.
The quality is great, flavors are very well concocted. The Payyoli chicken fry was blended with the spices and was deep fried to the perfection. The Erachi Ularthiyath was so tender and succulent. Honestly, this is the best dish I've ever had here, and it's a must-try if you're an avid fan of it. Kerala Parota was soft and flaky. The Parota and Erachi Ularthiyath combination is a must-try, and I am certain that you will fall in love with it. The delectable Biriyani served to me was lavishly adorned with fried onions, cashew nuts, and raisins, and it gave me a complete authentic Malabar feeling and upscale appearance. The chicken pieces were properly prepared and succulent. The accompaniments provided along with the biriyani were Raita, Chammanthi, and Raisins and Garlic Pickle.
In addition, a special Set lunch is available weekdays from noon to 3.30 p.m.
My 2 Cents:
Those who enjoy Malabari or Kerala cuisine will find this restaurant to be a top choice due to its excellent service, opulent interiors, and...
