Al Noor Palace - Business Class Hotel — Hotel in Bengaluru

Stayed here for 5 nights. Was visiting due to an official purpose. A few things that I wanted to point out:

Pros:

1. Easy check-in
2. Courteous staff and responsive
3. Clean rooms with basic amenities in place. Nice little work desk was also available. Hot kettle and coffee and tea sachets.
4. Location is excellent. Right in the centre so whether you want to go to HSR layout or Indiranagar or somewhere within Koramangala it is very very easy.
5. Loads of restaurants around the place within walking distance (3-5 minutes) including cheap food options as well as chic places and even clubs, pubs and bars for partying
6. Nice enough breakfast spread although it is repeatitive. The options were Idli, Vada, Sabudana Vada, Veg Rice, Sambhar, Chhole Kulcha, Puri, Sabzi, Toast and Omlette and Cornflakes/ Chocos and milk. For drinks tea coffee and juice.
7. Bathrooms are clean and big with rain shower available

Cons:

1. Rooms are a bit small. Although for someone visiting for work it would not matter as you'd majorly use it just to crash into your bed and keep your luggage.
2. TV does not work. Even if it starts up the main channels do not have the sound in them. You'll need to be satisfied looking at the picture on the TV.
3. WiFi is somewhat slow and there is a slight catch, if you stay for a shorter period you'll get a 2 day multi-device password and ID but for a longer stay it is 10 day but single device. I had to use my phone connection from time to time.
4. The AC works pretty good but there is a lot of noise so that can be a distraction
5. The noise that flows in when people are talking in the corridors or moving out of their rooms is too loud. I had a bit of a trouble sleeping when people were coming in late at night and getting into their rooms.
6. The restaurant is still not 100% functional so you get just breakfast but for the rest of the meals you'll have to trouble. Not too big a deal because point 5 in pros :)

Overall this is a nice place to stay if you are here for work related visit. I did not have any troubles in terms of security or anything as such. Feels pretty safe for a solo traveler and from what I noticed even for girls.

Walls of the rooms are stained with god alone knows what. Coming yo the bathroom there is fungus growing on the ceilings. The north eastern female at the reception doesn’t ever seem to know anything. She doesn’t know anything about cabs or how to help the guests. The three days we stayed there was no hot water to bathe. Day 1 we kept calling and they kept saying it will work until it was 11:30 pm and we had to heat water in the flask and make do. Day 2 we requested for buckets of hot water. And say 3 again no hot water. And the room service staff also is so lazy. They told us they can only get one bucket of hot water. And that’s when it slipped out of his mouth that the geyser is burnt. And all these days after knowing the facts they lied about the water. Besides a few hard working staff this hotel is not worth ur time or money. There is nothing buisness class about this hotel.
