Let me start with the infrastructure and the location -
The restaurant is Inconveniently located straight under a flyover in ORR and sound insulation is so bad that you can hear the vehicles that pass by. Just a glass wall separates the main ORR from you and the main hotel's door is auto open/close but the restaurant door is kept open by default and that leads to complete dust, pollution come straight into your plate and the spread.
The place as such is too small and you need to make sure you do not hit yourself in tables and chairs when you walk to the spread.
The rest room was stinking and there was tissues strewn around, I understand that a place is only as clean as its users but hey, you are Radisson!
The lobby has so dusty and stained orange chairs which look like modern piece of art but they fail big time in art, comfort and cleanliness and if you do not want your dresses to be spoiled, do not even think of sitting on them.
The AC in the restaurant was off and as everyone knows, for Bengaluru standards March is pretty hot.
Food:
The Spread was not even bare basics. I understand that it is in the budget end of the spectrum (for a star hotel) but this is the first time I am seeing a restaurant serving ONLY Veg soup and NO Non-Veg Soup. 2 starters each. The Veg Manchurian keeps coming in different plates to you. The Garlic chicken starter had NO hint of Garlic, was just way too sweet and had no balance whatsoever.
The fruits and desserts are a JOKE. They had kept ONE, just ONE pineapple as center piece in a side plate and small melon and pineapple pieces were stuck on it. The dessert spread was kept in a small laptop table type thing.
Taste was no better. The Mangalore chicken dish was as connected as Antarctica to Mangalore. The noodle had so much oil that the container can be a part of the OPEC.
Just such a bad food and such a bad place and I am not able to decide...
Read moreMosaic is part of the Country Inn Hotel. Went in here for a weekend dinner. Place was relatively empty with a few tables occupied. They had both buffet and alacarte options. Not in a mood for buffet , went in for a few picks from the ala carte.
Vegetable Chapli Kebab - Pomegranate, coriander and black peppercorn flavoured kebab - but did not make a mark. The kebab was all gooey and seemed half cooked - probably needed more time in the grill.
Kadai Paneer and Murg Do Piaza was our main course dishes. While the Paneer was good, the chicken dish did disappoint with rubbery and tough chicken. Breads were ok. For Desserts , went for a Brownie which was got right off the Fridge. The menu mentioned that Brownie is served with Vanilla icecream and chocolate sauce, we requested that the brownie and icecream be served separately. When the bill came, they had charged separately for the brownie and icecream mentioning it was a separate order which was unexpected.
Did try a vodka based cocktail which was nice. Fryums and papad is served initially which is on the house. Service is good but the food does not do justice to the place. Will i go again ? Not for a...
Read moreI am quite disappointed with my recent experiences at the Mosaic restaurant in Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bengaluru Hebbal Road. The “on-the-table” menu service is extremely slow — on one occasion, I had to wait at least 15–20 minutes just for a simple omelette, and on another day, the same delay happened for a boiled egg. Even after following up 3–4 times, there was no sense of urgency from the staff to serve the order.
The in-room dining service was no better. I requested two plates for lunch, and despite multiple follow-ups, the plates were brought only after 1.5 hours. This delay forced me to have my lunch at 4 p.m., which was extremely inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
Overall, the lack of promptness, coordination, and basic service efficiency in both the restaurant and in-room dining was very disappointing. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the speed and attentiveness of...
