We left within 1hr,
If on a weekday evening around 5pm the service people can't attend with 2 tables (we were 3 and there was couple on another table), then there is seriously something wrong on how the management cares about business.
Firstly the server did not come, there were 3 people busy decorating flowers and putting birthday signages for a reservation later in the evening. We had to do a crowd wave to call someone, cause the lady server was like I'll call another person (cause she was busy with the flowers for the bday thingy, which isnt fair but we let it go) then there was no one for like 20 mins, mind you all this while the manager and the lady were more keen on the flowers .
After 30 mins one lean server came, we asked him to fix something for the wobbly table and for our drinks, sadly he couldn't fix the table and had no clue what all is available including cocktails. Now by 40mins there's no one with the orders for food or drinks. Then irritated we asked him to get something which is avl. And also asked for bill. Suddenly the whole bar came to life , the flower table decoration people became attentive. 3 gentleman who were managers of not sure which department came one by one and wanted to ask about it. We got annoyed explaining the same thing again and again politely which was meaningless as they could've done it among themselves.
We politely explained to them , what we felt and thought, that was they don't care about a CUSTOMER or Do NOT respect our time. The employees are clueless not bothered.
I would personally AVOID this place and won't recommend it to any of my friends as if this is the condition with 5 people, wonder how it'll be on a busy day.
Maybe an unfortunate event, but that can't be an excuse, the place isn't cheap nor do I feel i want to waste my money and time here.
Can't say about food as we didn't order anything. Drinks are standard , cocktail was avg.
Giving 2 stars as the lone waiter tried his best for the poor management and Maybe a little...
Read moreWe live in walking distance to this restaurant, so were exited when it opened. Unfortunately, we aren't planning to return- cons outweigh the pros:
Pros: -Nice decor and very clean -Waitstaff was very helpful -Good prices
Cons: -Although the food was presented nicely, it was very much "hotel food". Not something special. Just very generic. The virgin pina colada I ordered was not thick- just seemed like some juice and the pineapple on the rim was sort of rotten. My husband's ice coffee- he just asked for coffee, milk, and ice came with chocolate syrup, so we had to send that back and change it (even though he was very specific about what he wanted). The nachos were not good- the chips were the kind you might find in a cold store and already seasons. The toppings were not great. Maybe I shouldn't have high hopes since I guess nobody understands what real nachos should taste like. The lamp chops were actually quite good- but good- nothing above average. I felt it was very "hotel buffet" tasting. -The music was absolutely blasting. We asked if they could turn it down, but they just said we could sit a few tables down away from the speaker. That would have made no difference- the speaker was already far, but it was SO loud. Another table complained about the loud music and finally they go the hint that it's a restaurant, not a club. Then, they turned it down and aimed the speaker away. -Once the music was turned down it was SO loud because the windows were open and the restaurant is directly above a super loud road- all we could hear was "beep, beep" constantly. I think it would have greatly helped it the closed the gigantic windows that were open.
So overall, our hopes of a peaceful dinner did not happen due to the loud music and then the loud traffic noises. I went home feeling like I needed some peace and I didn't really eat anything I truly enjoyed. If you're looking for mediocre food in a loud environment with nice decor, it might be the...
Read moreThis pub and restaurant offers a vibrant dining experience perched six floors above ground level, boasting an ambience rating of 4/5. The indoor lighting creates a warm and inviting vibe, and with two levels of indoor seating plus a rooftop section offering stunning city views, it's an ideal place to unwind. Sipping a drink while taking in the skyline is a must-do. However, the multiple staircases make it unsuitable for people with mobility issues.
The food earns a solid 4/5. The butter garlic prawns, chicken popcorn, and dimsums are standout dishes—flavorful and authentic. While some of the Indian fare misses the mark in terms of authenticity, it's still decent. The breads, in particular, are fresh and well-prepared.
The alcohol selection scores 3/5. Though the cocktails are well made, several items listed on the menu were unavailable during the visit, which was disappointing.
Service receives 3/5. With a multi-level dining area, service should have been more attentive. Initially, the staff was slow and uncoordinated. It was only after raising concerns that the service noticeably improved. The place would benefit from dedicated floor managers to ensure smoother operations.
Overall Rating: 3.5/5 Great ambience and food, decent drinks, but service and availability issues hold it back from being a...
