Thus place serves nice, sometimes fresh food. Idli, bisibele bhath are good. Good coffee. The small samosas may have stale fillings. I used to go there frequently - mainly for a "tapari"-like coffee experience but wouldn't recommend this place though, if you are hungry. I will just describe my breakfast experience. I asked for an idi-wada and a large, pure coffee with jaggery. After I paid and went over to get coffee, I was told that pure coffee wasn't available. After some discussion with his supervisor, he said he would prepare it another 10 minutes. I was ok with that. I was lucky that day and got a table to eat in. The table was obviously not clean so I waited until someone cleaned it. They used the same washcloth that was used to wipe spilled milk earlier probably. I could tell that from the stink it left on that granite tabletop. So I made sure I keep my nose as far away as possible from the table. When I placed my idi-wada plate on the table, I noticed that there was some water in the plate (leftover after the wash) in which the idli and wada were already soaked in a little. I still decided to eat the dry parts. After about 10 minutes, I was still trying to finish it while catching up on my whatsapp messages, someone, who had mostly finished his breakfast placed his plate with the leftover crumbs of uddinwada and some chutney on my table. It's a small table (1.5 feet radius) so you can't place another plate on it without touching another plate. I was disgusted and looked at the customer who did that. He didn't seem to bother and left. I, then, looked for someone to clean that plate before I could continue. None of the staff seemed to bother either. So I left my food there and waited for my coffee. 15 minutes latet, there was nothing. The person who prepared the coffee had already served sugary coffee to some customer who had asked for sugerless coffee and was happy to ignore me. So certainly not a place I'd like to...
