Nandhana Palace - Andhra Style Restaurant - Kammanahalli — Restaurant in Bengaluru

On 11/11/2024, I dined at Nandana Palace with a friend, and what was supposed to be a pleasant meal turned into a life-threatening incident. I discovered a rusted staple pin in my mutton starters, which is completely unacceptable. If I hadn't split the mutton in two halves, I might have consumed the staple pin without noticing. I can’t even imagine the harm it could have caused to my health, and if it had been someone else, they might have simply popped it into their mouth, creating a serious hazard to their life.

To make matters worse, I fell ill with food poisoning the very next day, and I have lost my appetite for an entire week. This incident highlights a severe deficiency in service and raises serious concerns about their food safety and quality control. The negligence in this case is undeniable, and there are clear legal consequences for such a lapse in standards. For a brand of Nandana's stature, this kind of oversight is a significant issue that warrants immediate attention. I hope the management takes this issue seriously. Three days ago, the friend I dined with, Lohit, posted a review detailing the incident. Since then, Nandana Palace (just the Kamanahalli branch) has received more than 10 to 15 new reviews, most of which appear to be either paid or fake, likely aimed at pushing Lohit’s review out of sight. This type of cover-up tactic is highly concerning and raises further doubts about the restaurant's transparency and integrity.

As an advocate myself, and a consumer, I will surely be suing Nandana Palace for their negligence and for this clear deficiency...

Maybe my feedback and rating will not matter to this restraurant as its a large chain. But, i would want to share my experiences here in the past and lately. Nandhana Palace Kammanahalli was a go to restaurant for me in Kalyanagar/Kammanahalli. The food was delicious. i used to frequent and order delivery very often. Recently i have been taken aback with the quality of food and customer service. had 2 back to back bad experience. the last 2 instances i ordered food from Nandana Palace Kammanahalli via Swiggy. The Swiggy app mentioned after the designated time that hotel has confirmed food ready. In both instances the Delivery agent was there on the location and waited almost an hour for the food to be handed over stating food was not ready. Now when i received the food, the food was cold(Naan, Butter Chiken, panner butter Masala). COLD was what i would say it was. So i feed the food was ready but not handed over. Please look at your delivery management as i donot see it as an issue with the Delivery firm but its your inefficiency. I would refrain from ordering home delivery from Nandana Palace Kammanahalli. Spoiled food was served to a Pregnant women!!!!!!! It was a Monday afternoon after the doctor's appointment I was craving for Mushroom dum biryani so we planned to visit the place.The place was quite and hardly any customers at the time as it was around 3:30pm. We ordered Pudina baby corn and Gobi Manchurian which was edible. We also ordered 1 veg meal along with 1 mushroom dum biryani and vegetable dum biryani. The mushroom which came on top the biryani was too salty and the vegetables in vegetable biryani was rotten and the smell was disgusting when I tasted it. I was a horrifible feeling that I fed my baby such food. Called the manager he didn't apologize and said it was mistake. Soon they cleared it and I ordered Veg meal which my sister in law said was good. But when I had it the pappu curry was again very salty and hardly couldn't eat anything and finished my meal with curd rice. So I learnt my lesson to not to eat at any restaurant throughout my pregnancy as the restaurant don't really care for people's wellbeing.
