I visited Al Amal Cafe based on the overwhelming positive reviews about their rolls. The rolls were indeed delicious, and I can understand why people rave about them. However, my experience was completely overshadowed by the cafe's deceptive pricing practices.
The menu displays prices without any mention of taxes, leading customers to assume they are paying the listed amount. To my shock, the bill included a significant additional charge labeled as "tax." When I questioned the discrepancy, the staff's response was a dismissive smile and no explanation.
This misleading pricing is not a one-time occurrence. I've personally reported this issue twice, hoping for a change, but unfortunately, the cafe continues with this unethical practice. It's disheartening to see such a popular place engaging in such blatant consumer fraud.
I urge potential customers to be cautious when dining at Al Amal Cafe. The delicious rolls might tempt you, but be prepared to pay more than what's advertised. I'm considering filing a consumer complaint to address this issue and prevent other customers from falling victim to this scam.
I hope this review serves as a warning to others and encourages the cafe to rectify their dishonest pricing practices.

Read moreHello Foodies, Here is another famous food spot from Kammanahalli, Bangalore. This place is located bit away from the famous Al-Amanah Cafe and you can experience less crowd and wait time here. If you are a shawarma and falafel lover then this place is for you. Variety of shawarma options both in roll and plate, falafel too. We tried out a plate of Turkish shawarma plate, I personally didn’t like the taste much as it had different flavour but my friend liked it. This doesn’t mean their food is bad, just that the option I chose was not matching to my flavour preferences. You can also get normal shawarma in roll, jumbo roll and plate. So don’t worry there’s everything for everyone. Food is prepared in front of us so no need to worry about hygiene. Their shawarma pit itself is so big that we can understand how popular the shop is. Talking about parking, there is no great parking space around but you can park few bikes next to the shop. For cars and other heavy vehicles you might need to find a safe spot to park. Seating is also limited, best preference would be for take away or having a roll standing outside. If you are patient or lucky enough might get a seat.
So go have a visit to their outlet and choose the style you wanted to try or is...
Read moreFood: At Al Amal, I tried their special shawarma, which was loaded with a variety of ingredients, including broccoli, omelette, boiled egg, fried chicken, and French fries. While the concept was intriguing and the quantity was generous, the overwhelming amount of mayonnaise overpowered the flavors of the other ingredients. The balance in taste was lacking, making it a less enjoyable experience for me personally. However, the shawarma was undoubtedly filling and visually appetizing, which might appeal to those who enjoy a mayonnaise-rich preparation or seek a hearty portion.
Ambience: The restaurant is geared towards fast dining, with a straightforward and no-frills setup. Seating is limited, so finding a spot might be a challenge during peak hours. Despite the simplicity, the space is functional and caters well to customers looking for a quick meal without unnecessary distractions.
Customer Service: Service was efficient and well-timed. The staff prepared the shawarma quickly and ensured it was served immediately, which is ideal for those in a hurry or craving a fast bite. Their promptness was commendable, even during...
