Well the only thing that I would go to this place will be for the magic show coz that guy was the only humble, polite and efficient person in the entire restaurant. We called the restaurant at 11:30, the guy in green T shirt (he actually wanted to do good but kind of succumbed to the rest of inefficient and arrogant team members) spoke to us and said you can order till 11:40 so we came to the restaurant right away.

That was our biggest mistake! A fellow with dyed hair and another one, both seeming were from north east and acted as if they’re doing a favour by allowing us to eat. I even asked them is it for free that you’re throwing this tantrum!!

Well we ordered a full paneer and a half soya chap (both were two different dishes on menu) and as confirmed by server 3pcs per naan from 5 naans = 15pcs of naan. We also ordered for Full Dal and Rice. Lastly jalebi!

Now let’s see how it gets served.

First jalebi comes. But we said, let’s eat it before it gets cold, don’t know how the rest will be.

But the disaster was yet to come. Then comes the rest of food. Except for rice everything else seemed half portion. Sharing the picture of the two sabjis and I bet if anyone can identify which is half and which is full. That was exactly how it was. Same gravy with only difference of paneer and soya added. When I poured the entire bowl in one plate it was actually more than full portion of paneer. Dal - the server said, half portion is served in a single katori whereas the full portion was served in a bucket which seemed more like half portion. What was worse that when I had asked before ordering, the server had said one full will suffice for 4 pax and one half will suffice for 2. Basis that it was all half portion clearly. Upon asking none of them had an answer because both seemed exactly same.

The cherry on the icing was that we were served only 9 pcs out of the 15. Which makes us believe that we were served 3 naans unless the chef was determined to add to the overall mess and had cut the same naan into two instead of three.

What was epic that there was no managerial or senior presence in the restaurant!! No wonder the servers were abusing the green t shirt guy for thinking of business and getting the table to sit. (Was evident when I bursted, the first thing the server said “aur bithao. Ab jhelo”)

Altogether the place is a “mohalla ka restaurant” good to serve 1-2 tables but definitely not good to go on an occasion where you would expect others to come!!

A Major Safety Hazard at NH8 – A Disturbing Experience

I want to bring attention to a deeply concerning and potentially dangerous incident that occurred during our family dinner at NH8 on June 22nd.

We had gone out for a meal with family and, after a short wait due to the rush, managed to get a table. We placed our order, and while the food itself was average (which I’m not even focusing on here), what followed was shocking.

As I began eating, I suddenly bit into something hard. At first, I thought it was a stone, but on closer inspection, it turned out to be a sharp piece of black plastic. I immediately raised this with the manager. Initially, he dismissed it as ash from the tandoor—without even examining it. Only after I showed him the actual piece did he acknowledge that it was part of a broken black bowl or plate used in their kitchen. He admitted it may have gotten into the dish by mistake and offered to replace the curries. Since we were almost done, and he accepted the mistake, we decided to let it go—assuming it was a one-off human error.

But just minutes later, something far more alarming happened.

My wife got a stapler pin in her mouth while eating—it actually pricked her tongue. We were horrified thinking about what could have happened if our child had been the one to bite into it or if it had been swallowed. Thankfully, no serious harm occurred. Once again, the manager admitted it was their mistake and that the pin must have come from the kitchen.

What was most disappointing, however, was the owner's attitude. I asked to speak with him, expecting at least an apology and a sense of concern. Instead, he appeared indifferent, barely listened, and simply redirected me to the manager. Not once did he apologize or ask how such a grave lapse in safety could have happened. His only interest was checking what our order was—as if giving discount or making the order free would solve the issue.

It was clear that raising our concerns there would lead nowhere, so we left—shaken, grateful that nothing worse had happened.

It’s evident that the NH8 management is either unaware of or unconcerned about the seriousness of such incidents. With their focus seemingly on driving reviews via discounts (5% off for high Google/Zomato ratings), genuine safety seems to be compromised. Despite the restaurant being within walking distance from my home, I will not return and strongly advise others to think twice before...

I had a wonderful experience at NH8 Restaurant in Kudlu! The authentic Rajasthani flavors truly stood out — every dish was delicious, fresh, and full of traditional taste, with a great variety of items that kept coming hot and unlimited, just like a true home-style meal. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout. The ambiance gelt like mini Rajasthan and specious too. perfect for family outings or casual get-togethers. What impressed me most was the warmth of the service — they served with genuine smiles and ensured we didn’t miss out on anything. The pricing is also very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food they offer. If you’re craving pure, soulful Rajasthani food in Bangalore, NH8 Kudlu is a must-visit. Highly recommend for anyone who loves traditional Indian thalis.

NH8 Mithas is a delightful gem for anyone with a sweet tooth or craving authentic Rajasthani and North Indian snacks! The quality of the sweets is top-notch — fresh, rich, and bursting with traditional flavor.

They also have a good variety of namkeens, snacks, and farsan that remind you of the flavors from back home. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are polite and helpful in suggesting items based on your preferences.

It’s a perfect spot to pick up festive sweets, quick snacks, or even gifting boxes. Highly recommend NH8 Mithas if you’re looking for authentic Indian mithai in Bangalore — it’s pure indulgence!
