Read moreI recently visited Nivy's, a cozy cafe, and I must say it left quite an impression. The cafe offers ample parking space, and what caught my attention was the outdoor seating area, nestled in a spacious green lawn. It provided a refreshing and serene ambiance, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal or spending quality time with friends and family.
One of the highlights of my experience at Nivy's was their delightful range of mocktails. I particularly enjoyed the Chilli Mocker, Desi Cola, and Pineapple Blush, which stood out for their unique and refreshing flavors. These mocktails were a welcome departure from the usual offerings, and I highly recommend giving them a try. However, the Mango Frappe fell a bit short of my expectations, as it didn't quite match up to the other delightful concoctions.
When it came to the snacks, the potato wedges stole the show. They were absolutely lip-smacking, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The burst of flavor in every bite was simply delightful. As for the Veggie Supreme Pizza, while it was decent, it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the other dishes I tried. It was just okayish and could have been improved upon.
The staff at Nivy's were commendable. They were professional, polite, and always wore a smile on their faces. Their warm and welcoming nature added to the overall pleasant experience.
All in all, Nivy's is an ideal place for hanging out with...
Read moreIt’s simply a garden with a few lights, wooden tables and chairs, and grass. The food was way too costly, which didn’t feel worth it considering the place and service. They don’t have any backup arrangement for customers seated in the open garden.
When we arrived, we stood and waited for 15 minutes straight for someone to assist us with seating. Then, just as we sat down, it started raining. People began rushing toward the covered area, holding their dishes and soups in their hands. The waiters and staff were also rushing, carrying heavy chairs and tables to the other side. It was funny and a new experience, but sad at the same time. One lady was running with her small baby in one hand and a bowl of soup in the other.
They should consider adding some kind of canopy or covering if they’re offering open garden seating. Apart from this experience, when we ordered food, it was served completely out of order—first the main course came, then the starters. When we asked for a mocktail, they said they didn’t have ice cubes, so mocktails couldn’t be served.
I found the food very overpriced. The taste was good though. I had pesto spaghetti, hot and sour soup, chicken lollipop, cowboy chicken steak, garlic prawns, and green Thai curry. They served everything so late that we were the last ones to leave the café.
Also, there was no mirror in the washroom, and it wasn’t clean. They really need to...
