Punjabi Nawabi is a place where you can go or even order for home delivery for some lip-smacking authentic Punjabi cuisine.
Ambience The ambience is not the plus point in this place but isn't hideous also. The place is kept clean and hygiene is kept in check. It also had a big LCD screen to keep up with all your IPL scores.
Beverages Options are as many as you would find in any Punjabi restaurant. The recommendations are as :
🍹Dry Fruit Lassi - authentic flavour with dry fruit toppings. Best had with paranthas available on the menu.
🍹Masala Coke - I always find this combination good and well enough to keep up with taste and not even that filling.
Food To start with the starters,
Starters =
⏺Paneer Tikka - recommended Mouth melting paneer cubes marinated well into Indian spices and then grilled well. Delicious and definitely worth a try.
⏺Hara Bhara Kebab- recommended Green vegetables mashed and then pan seared well. The kebabs were quite moist and well made.
⏺Mushroom Tikka - recommended Well, moist button mushrooms marinated well and served hot. Scrumptious and worth a try.
⏺Dakhni Mirch Chicken Tikka Marinated into curd and spices and then grilled on a tandoor. A little dry from inside.
⏺Banjara Chicken - recommended A different version of our favourite chicken with more on a spicy side.
⏺Murg ke Sholay A chicken starters with a tangy hung curd in marination.
Main Course= 🔶Dal Makhani - recommended One of the best dal makhani I have ever had in Bangalore. I am very particular about the taste of my dal makhani and this never disappointed me. The true authenticity of the dal is achieved due to long hours of cooking it on low flame and they did it perfectly well. Served with yellow butter on top. Best goes with chur chur naan and lachcha paratha.
🔶Punjabi Paneer- recommended Soft paneer pieces into Indian gravy. Creamy and delicious.
🔶Nizami Handi This is a mixed vegetable they serve with spices done well enough. This was not that great and I felt the spice level could be increased a little bit.
🔶Chicken Dhaniya Adraki - recommended A chicken gravy with marination of curd, coriander, and ginger. A unique taste to go with and it would not disappoint you. Best had with garlic naan.
🔶Indian Breads Although all the bread were baked and cooked to perfection, I personally liked the lachcha parantha and garlic naan the most. Chur chur is not authentic naan as you would get in the north but you could give it a try. I felt the stuffing could be better.
🔶Matar Pulav - recommended Long grains of rice cooked well into oil with season peas on top. Perfection achieved.
I personally like the vegetarian food so much better here and I could definitely go back for some dal makhani and paneer dishes. The prices on the menu are very nominal and won't burn a hole in your pocket and you would go back with...

If you’re craving bold spices, buttery gravies, and smoky tandoori meats, Punjabi Nawabi is your passport straight to the heart of Punjab. This vibrant Punjabi restaurant is a celebration of North Indian hospitality and indulgent non-veg fare, served with desi flair.
Food: The menu is a meat lover’s dream. We started with the Tandoori Chicken, which was marinated overnight in a blend of yogurt and spices, and roasted to perfection in a clay oven. The smokiness and charred edges were exactly what you'd expect from authentic Punjabi tandoori.
The Butter Chicken was another highlight—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced between tangy tomatoes and silky butter. Paired with garlic naan, it was comfort food at its finest. The Mutton Rogan Josh had a deep, slow-cooked flavor and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender.
For starters, the crispy chicken was and flaky inside, with a masala coating that packed a punch.
Ambiance: The décor strikes a balance between rustic Punjabi charm and modern comfort. Wooden furniture, truck art, and Punjabi folk music playing softly in the background created a cheerful, homely vibe. Think “village dhaba meets city bistro.”
Service: Friendly and fast. The staff were dressed in traditional attire, offered thoughtful recommendations, and kept checking in to make sure everything was to our liking.
Pricing: Slightly on the higher side, but the quality and authenticity of the food make it worth it. A hearty meal for two would cost around ₹1000–₹1200.
Final Verdict: Punjabi Nawabi is a haven for lovers of rich Punjabi non-veg cuisine. From perfectly grilled meats to luscious gravies, this place brings the flavors of Punjab alive. Come hungry—and leave happy.
