# Say no to plastic and save our environment# This is Krishna kafe on Harlur main road. Restaurant serves food in typical tamilnadu style. Idlis are very soft and dosa they make are of thickness same as news paper. Pongal, podi dosa, poori with aloo sagu are the highlights. Breakfast is served in the morning, meals in the afternoon and tiffin during evening till night. All dishes from morning to evening are delicious and hygiene. Table service is available at the restaurant and they also give take away. Sufficient parking space is available in front of the hotel to park 2 and 4 wheelers. Good choice for the people living around kudlu, harlur and sigasandra. If you wish to tip then you can drop the money inside the cash drop box kept at the cash counter and later it is equally distributed among hotel employess. The main branch is at Kormanagala and I had visited here many times. Now I am happy to see this hotel near to my home. Thumbs up to this restaurant.# please carry your own vessels and bags to avoid packing materials#

Ridiculous Pricing – Complete Rip-Off! I’m shocked at how Shri Krishna Kafé on Harlur Road is pricing their food. We ordered just a few simple South Indian items: Idiyappam, Appam, Mini Idli, and Kuttu Paratha. The total? A ridiculous ₹432! Let’s break it down: Idiyappam – ₹110 EACH Appam – ₹75 EACH For what? These are supposed to be humble, everyday dishes — not luxury meals. The pricing is outrageously inflated and completely unjustifiable. It’s like they randomly pulled numbers out of thin air and slapped them on the menu. This is not just overpriced – it’s exploitative. The food wasn’t anything extraordinary either. Just regular fare, but priced as if it’s gourmet cuisine. I’m genuinely disappointed and angry. Nobody should be supporting this kind of blind looting in the name of food. Until they revise their pricing and get real about authenticity and value, I strongly suggest avoiding this place. Wish I could give a ZERO star if there's an option

Disappointing Experience - Overpriced Food* Rating: 1/5 I recently visited this hotel and was shocked by the exorbitant prices. For a simple plain dosa, they charged a whopping ₹90! We ordered four plates, totaling ₹360, and surprisingly, they didn't provide a bill. While the taste was decent, the pricing was outrageous. Even 5-star hotels charge between ₹50-80 for a similar dish. The lack of transparency in billing raises suspicions. Due to the overpricing and unprofessional billing, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. *Details:* - Dish: Plain Dosa - Price: ₹90 per plate - Total Bill: ₹360 (for 4 plates) - No bill provided *Recommendation:* Avoid this hotel unless prices are revised.

It's run by the same team which runs the famous Krishna Cafe in Koramangala. 20 years and still going strong. Loyal fan base. So when one opens close to home. I had to try it out and not disappointed one bit as the familiar taste was intact even after so many years.

Unlimited meals are awesome @160.

But it's the idly dosa, and even vada that will stand out. Idlys are authentic Tamil style and just the batter is so different from the regular shops or ID mix... just like the chutney tastes so good you will scoop it all up.

The person who reviewed it first stumbled upon it accidentally and went back happy. I'm happy that I get to taste the lovely food right near my house. It used to be staple lunch for years together near my old office at Koramangala and yet never got fed up of the food. There are even loyal fans who come all the way from Whitefield to Koramangala just to eat at Krishna Kafe.

So now I don't have to go all the way to Koramangala to feel nostalgic for Krishna Kafe...
