The Paratha Company has been on my wish list for sometime now & one fine evening I decided to try their limited but interesting menu.
A little hungry, I ordered two sets of mains, a Paneer Paratha Mini Combo & a Sattu Puri with Chole Combo for dinner.
The food was delivered promptly, most importantly HOT, neatly & securely packed.
When I unravelled the Paneer Paratha, I realised there is nothing Mini about this combo. The package had homemade curd, some pickle, a portion of green chutney, a potion of Amul butter & tomato ketchup, alongside two well stuffed parathas, cut into half. The portion was more than sufficient even for a single hungry tummy like mine.
The first bite into the Paratha made me realise how close it is to the ones made at home. Just pure balanced spices & flavours, without overpowering or compromising quality & taste. With a dollop of butter, and a dip into the green chutney, it was too perfect. With every bite I had the choice of dipping into the pickle, the curd or the chutney, absolutely loved the meal.
My curious second selection was Sattu Puri & Chole Combo. Again more than I can handle portion, I had 4 Puris, generously stuffed with Sattu.
For the lesser known, Sattu is very much an integral part of the even lesser known Bihari Cuisine. It is a coarsely ground flour, made of a roasted pulses & cereals, which is used as a stuffing in parathas, the famous Litti Chokha, and in this case puris. Loved the hot puris with a generous Sattu stuffing, again balanced flavours in Sattu as well as in the Chole. What was surprising was this tiny portion of sweet tomato chutney, which was absolutely awesome. Went perfectly with the puris as well as with the parathas, I only wish it was provided a little more. I was completely blown away with the rice kheer in the Combo as well. Perfectly like home made, not too sweet, beautifully cooked rice in milk, in the right consistency, just the way I like it.
Though not a big fan of desserts generally, I couldn’t pass up the offer to try there Rabdi, which comes in a affordable guilt free portion of 120 ml. It was rich, creamy, not overly sweet & perfect to my liking.
My verdict is a great thumbs up to this place, just loved the home style parathas here, the Sattu Puri was heavy & yumm with the Chole, the sweet tomato chutney still lingers in my mouth. A highly recommended place for homestyle food, a must visit for foodies wanting to try a...

They have these amazing parathas aloo, paneer and achari parataha. They are cut like a pizza and served with green chutney, red chutney, mayonnaise which is so delicious. We were also served with a cup of rasmalai, every dish was good and served well.
The packaging was top notch with a box that looks like pizza and all the sauces or chutneys were packed in small containers along with it. There were no spillages.
