A good idea would be to get your CS phone lines working well. There was a constant disturbance from the customer service person ( background noise and chattering) while opulence is appreciated , communication should also be important.
7/6/25 - we were there last evening and reached at around 5:45 PM we were seated at the table opposite the bar and looking at the stage. Music - hoping to hear some good music, we were later told that the band goes live only at 8:45 PM... so neither could we listen to the music that was playing from the speakers but we had to sit through a constant sound check which was loud and very very gruelling. If you have opened for business and its a weekend it d be good idea to have the live band starting a lil early. Wouldn't that be nice? Drinks - We ordered the Botanist, the Margherita , the hustler ( the cocktails are priced at Rs 800 each) Please note actually adding alcohol would be a great way for the customer to actually enjoy a cocktail. The server mentioned that the place was opened only 40 days ( so its assumed that the customer has to understand and bear with some of the initial issues that any establishment goes through) DO NOT OPEN for business if not ready otherwise offer happy hour prices.
Food - Mushroom and chicken skewers were good and were well done. Small plate eats were fine.
Water- Glad that water was offered and we din have to wait to ask. The glass of water had the right quantity.
Tables : The table we sat on was wobbly and the we had to be extra careful so we may not spill our drinks. We then moved to another table.
Overall we footed a bill of 4k + š® with no jazz/ pop/ rock or even in house music.
As for the band yes you are young singers and musicians am sure good at your music ... but please do not underestimate the knowledge of music...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place definitely looks great from inside, but apart from that everything else is not great. The food is a common menu between Hamilton and Blr Co however the cocktails are different. We got the golden rhapsody, a cocktail with mulberries and one pea shot (I think that's what it was called). The cocktails were good but the food was very blah.
For food we got masala peanuts and the sundried tomato and feta flat bread.
The service was just terrible. We had made a reservation for 0630pm for two people but when we reached that asked us to sit in blr brewing co next to Hamilton(because it seems all of them are belongs to the same group) and were asked to sit there for 30 minutes. After 40 minutes someone came to fetch us, and said they'll be waiting for us at the reception desk.
When we went there that once again asked for our reservation serials which was strange because they literally just asked us to come back and they were standing right there.
To make matters worse, when we walked in at 7pm the whole place was almost empty but they still said we should sit in a corner of the room as the area was reserved, which was fine, except it became a whole task to attract attention of the servers to get us some service, at one point I had to walk across the room to ask the server to come take our order. Once we placed order for food, that simply disappeared. We had to leave at 9pm but the whole thing delayed as the food took a very long time to come.
Maybe I'd return for the cocktails but never for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI attended the Indian Ocean concert at Hamilton Cocktail Bar, Whitefield on 23/8, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
There was a forced cover charge with a long waiting line, and to make it worse, we were given the wrong concert time. The band eventually arrived about 1.5 hours late.
The venue was poorly managed ā there was no seating at all, and people were cramped into a much smaller space with no prior notice about such conditions. By the time the band arrived, people were already standing for nearly 2 hours.
On top of that, the bar and food menu were restricted for concert-goers, leaving us with only 3ā4 subpar and overpriced options.
Overall, it felt far from the event it was marketed as and came across as extremely disorganized. The band and their music were the only saving grace, but serious warning to those considering attending marketed musical events here. Would not recommend attending concerts here AT ALL. DISCLAIMER: This review is for the concert experience alone, as I have not been to the bar as a standalone venue, or just for...
