Location: Jakku Village, Entrance Area Ambiance: Midsize restaurant on the ground floor with additional seating on the first floor Price Range: High for breakfast and un-reasonable for sides Dishes Reviewed: Mushroom Kebab, Mangalore Bajji and Bondas, Mushroom 65 (Yet to try more) Experience:
Ambiance and Service The restaurant, nestled at the entrance of Jakku Village, offers a cozy ambiance with a midsize layout on the ground floor and additional seating on the first floor. The staff and chefs appeared to be enjoying their work, which added a pleasant touch to the dining experience.
Food Quality I started my culinary journey here with a leap of faith, despite the slightly high prices for breakfast. The Mushroom Kebab turned out to be a delightful surprise, bursting with flavors that elevated the dish beyond its typical expectations. The balance of spices and tenderness of the mushrooms made it a standout choice.
On another visit, I explored the Mangalore Bajji and Bondas & buns along with Mushroom 65. The taste of these dishes was undeniably good, showcasing the expertise of the chefs. The Mangalorean flavors were not so authentic, and the Mushroom 65 had a satisfying crunch paired with a flavorful seasoning.
Value for Money While the food quality is commendable, the high prices may deter some diners from frequent visits. The restaurant might benefit from reevaluating its pricing strategy to ensure long-term success, especially considering the competitive market environment. Itās worth noting that nearby competitors with competitive prices are attracting some walk-ins, signaling a need for price adjustments to remain competitive in the area.
Conclusion In conclusion, the Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with flavorful dishes and a lively atmosphere thanks to its enthusiastic staff and chefs. However, for sustained success, it would be wise for the management to consider revising their pricing strategy to align better with market expectations without compromising on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered Set Dosa, expecting a soft, fluffy delight with a side of flavorful chutney and sagu. What did I get? A crime against South Indian cuisine.
First off, the dosa was so dry it felt like it had been left out in the sun for three days. And the sagu? Oh, waitāit was just potatoes again. I donāt know if Udupi Garden has a personal contract with a potato farm, but Iād love to remind them that sagu is supposed to have vegetables too. Where are the carrots? The beans? The peas? Did they all take a vacation?
If you love eating plain potatoes with cardboard-like dosa, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the heartbreak and eat elsewhere.
Udupi Garden, Iām begging youāset your game up, not...

The rest of items we bought was just waste of money. Kadapu lack of sweetness Potato Bonda taste alike leftoverm Mangalore Bun was a disaster, it was made from old leftover doughs. All of their dishes were not fresh.
Mangalore Bun was my favourite dish but in this rubbish hotel it taste sour and lack of sweetness.
Sambar and chutneys are good for the bin.
Not worth for the money we spend 800rs.
Only those who are desperaten, lack of taste sense and quality would ever go...
