Guys idk about ya’ll posting 5 star reviews here, I had the absolute worst experience with this restaurant. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a big family gathering taking place, which I don’t mind, but the acoustic of the place make the whole environment so loud and echoey. This family was extremely loud and every single member was screaming at the top of their voices, there was nothing I could do about it because it restaurant is quite small and you couldn’t escape this family. I got a headache 5 minutes into the place and I should have left but decided to be nice about it and stayed.
Our order was served after more than an hour and get this, the big family was already fighting with the staff because they were being served late as well, they were also served all the wrong items, and same with me. I got my food late, had to sit and listen to everyone scream, only to see that the butter chicken was so less in quantity and was not enough for two people. We did ask before I ordering and were told it’s enough, so that was a slap. We ordered 3 butter and 2 plain naans. We got 3 butter naans and the rest were laccha parathas. I was so hungry, I couldn’t care less, it was past 3 pm, I ate what I got. I paid 800+ for this meal which honestly wasn’t even filling. The food is average, the service is very bad guys.
The restaurant staff and owners apologised for the delay by saying that all our stock was taken up by a corporate order. Duh? Then you could have just told your guests that it’s going to take time! Why make us sit for more than an hour? It ruined my Sunday afternoon. We only get a weekend to relax and chill, please respect our time, we cannot sit and wait for hours because you weren’t prepared with the logistics of the restaurant. You should let people know you cannot serve quickly and let them go find other options, which are plenty in that area. Trying to keep customers when you cannot give them a good experience just makes you look desperate and cheap.
Like if I was told that food was going to take a long time to be served, I would have come another day and had a better experience maybe. But after this experience, am I ever going back?...
