Crunchy Munchie — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

Hi friends, this review is on my recent visit to crunchy and Munchie. It is my first time to be there and I hope this will be last time as well. The food quality is good, I will not going to comment on food quality. I have given 1 star ⭐ rating just because of the service and the behaviour of the staff which is very pathetic. We order a pahadi paneer kabab which is delivered on time and test also very good, I asked the manager in charge to please suggest some food for dinner, he said he can arrange lachha paratha and chilly paneer with salad, but it will take some extra time. We say no problem and we order the same, in mean while we already finished the pahadi paneer and as the manager said it will take time we order another starter item of mashrum, but all of sudden the waiter came with the main course. We asked him that we have order one starter as well. He gone to manager , and the manager came after few minutes, we told him the starter should come first and you only told that main course will take time. Then how the main course came so fast and there is no point to have starter with main course both the item completely different, he is trying to blam is that we order in between for which the starter got delayed. My only point is we go to restaurant for having a good time and a good quality of food, there is a process of starter, main course, desert. We pay for that to feel the test of each and every thing. There is peice tag on everything and we pay for everything with GST. Then why the food not delivered as per our requirement. After this incident the manager not come back to us not any other sinior person, the waiter came and asked anything else you need. This means these people are list worry about...

Well, the various Food Bloggers of Bhubaneswar really hyped up the place as being a cheap food haven. However, this is basically a food court with 2 floors of seating area but in reality has 10-15 tables max.

I went in with high expectations but the food was a hit n miss. Chhole bhature was average 3 star. Paneer pahadi kabab was new and appetizing so that's a 4 star dish.

Mutton roll was a bit over cooked and the smell of mutton was not gone yet so my friend had difficulty eating it.

Coming to pastry section, I got a Kiwi pastry thinking to try something offbeat but to my disappointment, it was really under baked and tasted weird so please don't have any bakes at the place.

Sweet lassi was a little bit on the tangy side. Cold coffee was good, little bitter as I like it but the sigar content in it was more than average.

In conclusion, eat at this place with a bit of caution but at this price point if you get a place to sit under an AC ambience and have food, you can check it out once.

I won't go there again that's for sure! Unless I only want to have paneer kabab then I might...
