Xenia-Hotel Sandy's Tower — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

We had dinner yesterday and the experience was very disappointing. First off We literally had to wait at our table for a good 5-6 mins before someone came to attend to us. We asked for the menu and she smiled and said ok! and went to fetch one and disappeared, then another girl came and smailed and asked what we like to have and we said the MENU she also disappeared, this happened another two more times. Finally they brought the food menu and we requested for the bar one too, this also too a long time. We ordered for two drinks for two of our guests this too took a while and then only one drink came. We so we finally raised a toast with our water glasses, if u r wondering about the second drink they did bring it after 27mins. The food too was haphazardly served they were all over us and to add to our frustration. The person who was serving us dropped a chilly chicken piece on my daughters lap which went under the table, she did say sorry though but didn't bother to clean up the piece on the floor. We have very fond memories of this hotel chain starting with Toshali Sands back in the days(1980s.) My sisters first job was at the front office. And my daughters 16th bday @ Sandy Tower I hope this review can help get back the happy vibs...

I request Google to provide a option for negative review points coz this Xenia restaurant deserves more negative points. Purely STALE foods serve here in the name of fresh one. In the name of brand they are serving very very poor and unhygienic food with rude staff behaviour. Starting from the gate to end of the lunch period the security personals and the waiter's behaviour are very much unprofessional. So please don't waste your valuable time to visit this...

Service was too slow that you can only have one meal in a whole day time. Some staffs when asked about delay and service are replying that they don't know who is doing what and they are not responsible for the mishap. Flies are found in raita, when reported about the same it was cleverly cleared by one of the manager and was silent about remaining time. Anyone planning for any meal, atleast be free for 4-5 hrs...
