Aminia Restaurant - Rajarhat — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Founded in the year 1929, "Aminia" proves its excellence in serving Mughlai or Awadhi cuisine and successful in touching the peak of its fame throughout the years. With the growing demand for the aforesaid cuisine, it presently has 9 branches spread all over the city; the first outlet being the one in the New Market area.

We visited the one at Chinar Park. Sited very close to the Chinar Park bus stop, it is one of the best place for family gathering or to dine out with friends, with an arrangement for 50-60 people at a time.

To treat ourselves with the famous traditional Mughlai savouries, we ordered half plate of Tandoori Chicken as a Starter and two plates of Chicken Biryani. Despite being mobbed, they had a prompt service and it took just 15 minutes for the dishes to arrive at our table.

The mouthwatering Mughlai dish, i.e. the Tandoori Chicken comprised of two big pieces of Chicken. The dish is prepared by roasting Chicken marinated in yogurt and spices over an intense fire in a Tandoor. Originated in India, this dish is very popular in different parts of the world. The chicken pieces served were juicy and tender and properly roasted; neither burnt nor less cooked. The perfect smoky taste was a great treat to the lingua.

As we all know, Aminia is best known for its Biryani and their royal dish absolutely needs no introduction. It was a perfect blend of rice and chicken cooked with different aromatic spices having a complete Mughlai flavour. Each plate serves a good amount of Rice, a piece of Chicken and a Potato. The combination of spices were in appropriate quantity and thus tasted and smelled divine which simply melt our heart. The piece of Chicken was large enough and fully cooked. Now coming to the not so-highlighted but can't let go part of the Kolkata Biryani. Yes, you guessed it right! The "Aloo" - a perfectly boiled, well flavoured, soft piece of potato serves as the best accompaniment with the Chicken. The Biryani here is cooked with Aloo-Bukhara and thus have a pleasant sweet vibe. One plate of Biryani is a good serving for one person.

Overall it was a wonderful place with polite and professional staffs and good management. The seating arrangement being a mix of Sofas and Chairs provide a cozy atmosphere. Chiner park Aminia - sorry to say your service is becoming a waste to the worst. Starting from food quality and quantity. I hope you yourself can assist. Where you are heading too from last 10 yrs. Call center agents are awful. First you stay long in queue and then you receive wrong items and upon reporting they keep shut or sorry for inconvenience. BUT no effort is made to help the customer. Now let's talk about the restaurant . It's smells upon entering. Toilet door broken untidy toilet. Basin with the usual water log. Food order taken more time than usual and some times you need to correct them on the wrong food served. Upon receiving and informing multiple times to serve still no help is provided. After the starter is served plates are not removed. And suddenly no waiter r interested on you since the very waited food has been served. That's max Aminia waiter might be paid for. Finally no hot bowl and suddenly the waiter is very much in reach since he is in Too much hurry to clean the table and share the bill for you to just leave. Also would attempt two three times to remind you if the bill is paid. .. I was associated with Amini since you started this restaurant in Chiner park. But since it's has improved some outstanding quality to retain the customer. I am sadly informing you that this would be my last order to your Restaurant. I can't trust you at all. I wish to bring the concern into everyone's attention which i have faced while dinning with my family and friends at Aminia Restaurant- Chinarpark Rajarhat (Kolkata- West Bengal) wherein we were been served with extremely poor quality of food contaminated with fungus / bacteria. I have shooted video and even taken few snaps of the said food item covering the background of the restaurant. I hv even highlighted the matter with the CO's personnel wherein they preferred to remain silent. I have a strong apprehension as whether other foods those been served to us at all safe as finding this made me petty skeptical abt the quality of foods getting served into that restaurant. While talking to the restaurant staffs telling them i would highlight this with the appropriate authority and department I was made to understand that they are really big group and not will happen to them even if i raise the complain with the concern dept of government looks after consume's right and ensure for healthy food quality to be served by any merchants.

However as a responsible citizen i thought of bringing the matter into your attention with an anticipation of proper action must be taken against the restaurant so that they don't ever dare to play with health of the customers and their children.
