Founded in the year 1929, "Aminia" proves its excellence in serving Mughlai or Awadhi cuisine and successful in touching the peak of its fame throughout the years. With the growing demand for the aforesaid cuisine, it presently has 9 branches spread all over the city; the first outlet being the one in the New Market area. We visited the one at Chinar Park. Sited very close to the Chinar Park bus stop, it is one of the best place for family gathering or to dine out with friends, with an arrangement for 50-60 people at a time. To treat ourselves with the famous traditional Mughlai savouries, we ordered half plate of Tandoori Chicken as a Starter and two plates of Chicken Biryani. Despite being mobbed, they had a prompt service and it took just 15 minutes for the dishes to arrive at our table. The mouthwatering Mughlai dish, i.e. the Tandoori Chicken comprised of two big pieces of Chicken. The dish is prepared by roasting Chicken marinated in yogurt and spices over an intense fire in a Tandoor. Originated in India, this dish is very popular in different parts of the world. The chicken pieces served were juicy and tender and properly roasted; neither burnt nor less cooked. The perfect smoky taste was a great treat to the lingua. As we all know, Aminia is best known for its Biryani and their royal dish absolutely needs no introduction. It was a perfect blend of rice and chicken cooked with different aromatic spices having a complete Mughlai flavour. Each plate serves a good amount of Rice, a piece of Chicken and a Potato. The combination of spices were in appropriate quantity and thus tasted and smelled divine which simply melt our heart. The piece of Chicken was large enough and fully cooked. Now coming to the not so-highlighted but can't let go part of the Kolkata Biryani. Yes, you guessed it right! The "Aloo" - a perfectly boiled, well flavoured, soft piece of potato serves as the best accompaniment with the Chicken. The Biryani here is cooked with Aloo-Bukhara and thus have a pleasant sweet vibe. One plate of Biryani is a good serving for one person. Overall it was a wonderful place with polite and professional staffs and good management. The seating arrangement being a mix of Sofas and Chairs provide a cozy atmosphere. There is nothing much to say about their super delicious food. So if you are a Mughlai cuisine lover, do not miss to step into the restaurant and treat yourself and your friends & family with the finest delicacies

🔶Ambience - Well decorated but crowded. If you prefer silence, skip this place. 🔶 Service - Could be faster but understanding the rush they face, it's not much of a bother. 🔶Covid Maintenance - No extra precautions, crowded but all the waiters were wearing masks. 🔶Foods ordered with price :- 1) Chicken Biryani:290/- (1 big piece of chicken with one big potato with enough rice to feed one person fully) 2) Mutton Biryani: 290/- (One big piece of mutton but sometimes you may not get the piece you like, one big piece of aloo and rice) 3) Chicken Tikka Butter Masala: 350/- (6 medium pieces of tender chicken in tikka gravy, the smokiness of chicken pieces was absolute hit) 4) Green Salad: 60/- (4 big pieces of cucumber, 4 big pieces of rounded and onion, 4 round cut tomatotes along with lemon and chillies) 5) Virgin Mohito:99/- (Absolute favourite, almost everyone ordered, the minty fresh feeling after the Rich food is a must need) 6) Shahi Phirni: 99/- (Portion small, have tasted far better phirnis) 🔶Cost Effective:- The following charges were applied in the total order:- 1)CGST- 2.5% 2)SGST- 2.5% Payment by card available. 🔶Opinion:- The biryani is a must try. Flavourful aromatic rices and not at all oily. Chicken Tikka masala is a must. Good place and good food if you like crowd.

Food preparation was ok. Can't say it was bad but it was not worth the hype either. Arsalan ( located close to Aminia) makes better Biryani. Though it's a matter of taste and subjective but we were foodies in our group and we universally agreed that taste was just about ok. WE HAD A VERY POOR EXPERIENCE AT Aminia! We ordered Chicken Tandoori, Mutton Chaanp, Mutton Biryani, Dal Fry and wheat Roti. The preparation is only a part of the fine dining experience. The other two parts are the ambience and the service. The ambience of the restaurant was very good. Clean, well-lit and the sitting was comfortable. They also have valet parking, which is kind of required as there is no convenient place to park in front of the restaurant. The service was where the fine dining experience fell apart. We were served by a gentleman whose name was Rizwan. He was grumpy and rude all the time. It was shocking as one is generally not used to such behaviour. We asked for suggestions and we were told he can't suggest. "Please see the menu and order whatever you like". In fact for any thing we asked the general response was rude and not polite at all! It's pretty sure I am not taking my guests to Aminia anymore.

I recently visited Aminia in Chinar Park and had a mixed bag of experiences. The service and hospitality were great, and the food arrived quickly. However, the meat in the biriyani was a bit disappointing. The mutton was dry and tough, and the chicken was bland. The chicken keema bharta was much better, and the seekh kebabs were also tasty. I also tried the firni, which was delicious. Overall, I would say that Aminia is a good place for Mughlai food, but the meat could be better. Pros: Good service and hospitality Quick service Tasty chicken keema bharta and seekh kebabs Delicious firni Cons: Dry and tough mutton in the biriyani Bland chicken in the biriyani Some items were not available Overall: A good place for Mughlai food, but the meat could be better. Advice: If you're planning to visit Aminia, I would recommend trying the chicken keema bharta or the seekh kebabs. The biriyani is also good, but the meat could be better. Additional comments: I would like to see Aminia improve the quality of the meat in their biriyani. It would make the dish much more enjoyable.

We ordered mutton biryani, tawa paratha, and chicken reshmi butter masala. For starters, we ordered the mutton galawati kebab (4 pcs). The galawati kebabs were very well made. The taste was fantastic, it melts in your mouth just like it's supposed to. The size of individual kebabs was decent for the price. The tawa parathas were also well cooked. But the dish of the day was the mutton biryani. I've visited Aminia Chinar Park in the past too, but this time the biryani tasted really delicious. You could smell the gentle fragrance of cloves and elaichis. The mutton pieces were tender and juicy, the potatoes were soft. The staff are very respectful. Although it's almost always filled to its capacity, the restaurant doesn't lose its ambience to the crowd. And by that, I also mean you can actually hold a conversation with the person on the opposite side of your table without having to scream. We spent about 1.5k for 3 people, which is quite reasonable. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience. Would love to visit it over and over again in the future.

Went on sunday, wasnt a good decision, had to wait for almost an hour to get a seat. This was my first time in Aminia, the service was fine, ordered Chicken lahori, mutton dum biryani, garlic naan, one chicken starter item and paneer do pyaza. I just had paneer do pyaza which was delicious, cant comment on other items but inspite of saying to keep non spicy and very less oil, the chicken lahori was almost dipped 1 inch in oil. Excitedly ordered veg hara bhara kebab as well but after confirming the waiter came after 15 mins saying the chef wont make it as it takes alot of time. And veg lovers you wont get much items to select. As in starters they kept only 3 items - paneer tikka, hara bhara kebab and one tandoori aloo item. Out of which just paneer tikka was available. And I dont know whether it was due to crowd or what they served everything from starters to main course in one go. I would recommend to go only in weekdays. The service might be different on those days compared to weekends. The total amount we paid was Rs 2300.
