It's hard to find a person who in not a true blue puchka lover, especially in the City of Joy! Phuchkalicious is definitely trying to bring a revolution in this field, by introducing almost seventeen types of mouthwatering fusion puchkas, which will surely not burn a hole in your pocket. The kiosk is located right outside City Centre 2 Mall, Chinar Park. It is managed by all female staffs who seems to be efficient and friendly. Proper hygine is maintained while preparing the phuchka.
We tried a few items from the menu -
• Chatpata Puchka - It is the classic variation of phuchka, with a spicy potato filling and tamarind water. Although it wasn't something extraordinary, but it was definitely mouth watering.
• Dahi Puchka - This was another traditional variation of phuchka, which is commonly available. It was stuffed with the potato filling, curd and topped with sev.
• Kurkure Puchka - This variation was an ultimate crunchy delight. Being a Kurkure lover, I was just drooling by the sight of the dish. The puchkas are filled with a potato mixture along with tomatoes and onions, and topped with ample amount of hand crushed Kurkure with a dash of lemon juice. It was also served with a cup of tamarind water.
• Peanut Masala Puchka - Peanut lovers must not miss out on this one! The puchkas contained the usual potato filling with tomato and onion, but it was filled to the brim with peanuts, which were tossed in a Chatpata masala.
• Cheese Burst Puchka - It's all about the cheese! Sweet corn and mayonnaise stuffed puchka topped with a ton of grated cheese and a sprinkle of Chaat masala. I just wish that the cheese on top was baked and melted. Although the phuchka was extremely delicious.
• Nutella Puchka - Dessert puchkas are totally in trend right now. These delicious puchkas are coated with Nutella, stuffed with vanilla ice cream, Choco chips and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Chocolate sticks are used to complete the dish.
• Pan Puchka - We ended our delectable journey with the most innovative paan flavoured puchka. The unique stuffing was a combination of pan masala and chocolate ice cream. It's the perfect item to end our meal with.
We gulped all the puchkas down with some refreshing and fizzy drinks- • Green mango and Orange chiller.
Overall, the lip-smacking puchkas, efficient service and the affordability, will surely make me revisit...

Food Review:
Chatpata Puchka
This is basically the one of the traditional puchka made totally spicy and chatpata.
Dahi Puchka
This is also one of the most famous puchka preparations. I really loved the way the large mouthful of pieces starts to melt inside the mouth, revealing the delicious taste of dahi and spicy smashed potatoes.
Kurkure Puchka
Now this was something new and for all the hardcore Kurkure fans this dish is a must try. The puchka’s were filled with Kurkure, spicy onions and other flavours.
Peanut Masala Puchka
Another dish which I will earnestly request everyone to give it a try. The spicy and chatpata peanut masala is totally satisfying
Cheese Burst Puchka
I guess this was specially made for all the cheese lovers out there. The puchka balls were overcrowded with cheese and corn and the taste was totally satisfactory.
Nutella Puchka
This is basically for all the sweet lovers out there. It is not mandatory that puchka are always meant to be spicy and sour. They are awesome and can serve the purpose of a desert item as well. If you are not believing the fact then try this Nutella Puchka Out at Puchkalicious.
Tutti Fruti Puchka
The stuffing was basically a scoop of ice cream along with the toppings of Tutti Fruti and different fresh fruits. Now at Puchkalicious, Puchkas can be healthy as well.
Pan Puchka
This was the best of every items me and my group tried in this outlet. This can definitely serve the purpose of a desert item where the puchkas have the stuffing of rich and thick ice cream along with royal pan.
Mocktails
This place also have some amazing and refreshing chillers. I ordered every 3 of them that they offer and they are as follows: Orange Chiller, Green Mango Chiller and Lemon Mint Chiller. Every one of them was totally awesome and tasted best just after finishing a plate of puchka. My personal preference would be Green Mango Chiller

Read moreKolkata is known for its "Puchkas" and Calcuttans have been fighting it out to prove that our Puchkas are the "best" in India, given the fact that there are several variants of the same throughout India.
To add to the list of uncountable Puchkawalas, comes "Puchkalicious", the perfect conjunction of the words, Puchka and Delicious. These two words definitely complement each other. This is a very small shop, (not as small as the loads of puchkawalas you will find here in Kolkata), at the extreme corner of City Centre II mall in Rajarhat, Kolkata. They have introduced a number of varieties of fusion puchkas stuffed with different fillings.
While some are commonly found, like the Dahi Puchka, Sev Puchka and the traditional classic puchka, many are new and innovative. We straightaway tried the Kurkure Puchka and Peanut Masala Puchka. The Kurkure puchka was a mixture of Kurkure chips, diced onions and potatoes along with masala, salt and lemon. Similarly, the Peanut Masala puchka had the filling of peanuts with the same combination of the former, minus the Kurkure chips. It was a FILLING experience. They serve 5 pieces each plate. The plates are made of the bark of palm leaves, very Eco-friendly too.
Then other plates that came in were Jal Jeera Puchka, which had the addition of spicy and tangy Jal Jeera infused in the classic filling of the puchka. All these puchkas were served with Tamarind/Pudina water, that was very tasty comparatively.
We saved the best for the last. Cheese Burst Puchka. Yes. You heard that right. It was stuffed with corn, mayo and loads of cheese. Pure melt in mouth stuff.
Given the fact that the place is small, they have managed to keep everything hygienic and tidy. It shows in the taste of the produce.
They also have dessert based puchkas, like the Nutella Ice Cream Puchka, Paan Puchka and Tutty Fruity Puchka. Plus they have a couple of thirst quenchers like the Lemon, Orange and Green Mango Chillers. I didn't try them but I am sure they are good to have too.
Isn't your mouth...
