Hungerpangs — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Tucking away in the E.M Bypass road , sometimes You Have to think twice before going to any food stall but here I suggest this place, Hungerpangs which exactly located just beside the goutams, close to Mani Square Mall!

First of all I would like to say one thing that this place is very little food joint accompaning approx 10-12 seats and here you can get huge options at a very affordable rate under a one roof. According to the location , this place serves different kind of food variety at a affordable rate and that is worth mentioning.

Quality and quantity of all food was good according to the price rate.

Ambience- not that much environment to mention. Very simple ambience , they can afford tables for 10-15 people. Neat and clean all around.

Staff- All staffs were very polite and courteous.

Let's talk about their lip smacking spread:

We took kesar chai - it was served in a cup and quantity was really good. Now talk about the flavour that was quite remembering. I really liked that kesar chai. Balance of sweetness was perfect.

Cold coffee with ice cream- I loved it! It was served alond with one scoop of vanila ice cream. Taste was good.

Steamed Momo- 6 pieces of veg momo come along with Tomato sauce and special momo sauce. As my hearts says"Momo should be always in chicken" but this place is only served veg food so this veg momo is not that much bad ,the stuffings of cabbage with mayo was perfect and the outer coating was soft so overall I liked their veg momo. U can not get this kind of quantity at other places at this affordable rate.

Crispy chilli mushroom- Mushroom is my all time favourite! Here In this place I have no complain about their quantity in food but yesss sometimes I felt that some dishes need to be improved taste wise. Like in this dishes mushroom was quite overfried to me. Taste was ok. Not too much bad not too much good.

Red Sauce pasta- Pasta was ok to me. May be I felt the spices was not in a perfect balance to compliment the pasta.

Here you can get Chinese food also: Veg fried rice and chilli panner (combo) - combo was rely good. Paneer cube was soft and the taste of the gravy was really good but in rice was bit oily to me. Otherwise the porition of veggies was good and taste was also good.

Brownie with vanila ice cream- don't compare this brownie to the other restaurants because there u get the same brownie at a high rate. Here it is served at a very affordable rate. And the size of the brownie was quite good and the portion of vanila ice cream was huge over the top of the brownie.

Overall like this small snack joints! U can not find this kind a place near bypass as so easily with so much variety in the menu card. So that's the most worth remembering part. I would like to mention that overall food was good according to the price. Quantity was also good.

Even they also take the orders of Birthday party too!

While Returning from Mani Square, Found this Cafe on EM Bypass just Beside the Goutam's. Its a Pure Veg Cafe. It Remains open to late night. On both side of Em Bypass There were lots of Cafe and kiosk. And here is the speciality of This cafe. They Have Proper Seating Arrangements of 10-12 people at a time.

I was really amazed to see their menu card. From Chai / Coffee to Mocktails, Starters to main course, Shakes/ Smoothies to Desserts all were available at very affordable price.

We were 7-8 people so we want to try different Items. So ordered -

Keshar Chai (₹50) : Being a Chai lover ordered Keshar Chai. This Chai had good density of milk and had a good number of saffron sprinkled over it. This chai was so aromatic and good in taste.

Masala French Fries (₹60) : Usually we had tried French Fries of Kfc of MaC'D. This one is little different from them. Size of each and every pieces were really promising. Peri peri powder was sprinkled all over the fries and served.

Pan Fried Cheese Momo (₹80) : They served authentic momo. Momos had a Good stuffing of veggies and cheese. Gravy was So spicy.

4.Cheese Steamed Momo (₹70) : Fillings were same, momos were served hot. These momos were served with Tomato dips and Chilli Flakes Dips.

Crispy Chilli Babycorn (₹120) : Babycorn is my all Time Favourite. Quantity was Really Huge. Somehow i felt that it should be more crispy

Crispy Chilli Mushroom (₹120) : This Dish was my Favourite. It was made perfectly. A must try I must say

Blue Lagoon (₹70) : As a Refreshing Beverage, I choose Blue lagoon. It was made quite good and refreshing.

Cream And Cheese Vada pav (₹50) : crispy Aloo patty along with a slice of Cheese has been served inside two pav bread. Tasted good.

Veg Cheese Burger (₹65) : They Didn't use proper Burger Bun due to less price. But still it tasted so good.

Combi Pasta (₹120) : Its a mixed sauce pasta Topped with Grated Cheese. Tasted good.

Pasta in White Sauce (₹110) : White sauce pasta was my favourite one. It was topped with grated cheese and corn.

Cold coffee with Ice cream (₹60) : Cold Coffee was perfectly made. Coffee was so strong. One scoop of vanilla ice cream enhanced its taste.

Oreo Shake (₹65): It was Perfectly Made.

Chinese Combo (₹120): This Combo comes up with Veg Fried Rice and Chilli paneer. Fried rice was little oily. Paneer was good.

Hot Chocolate Brownie with Icecream (₹105) : A scoop of Vanilla ice cream topped with Hot Chocolate served with a piece of Medium sized brownie. Its tasted good.

Price For Two People Here will be Approx - ₹250-300

Well, They organise Small Birthday party too at their cafe.

No wonder why people call it the city of joy. Well, from having a plate of Momo at just Rs. 50 to a custom made burger for Rs.55, Kolkata has a cozy place to offer where a large plethora of spicy, tangy and absolutely mouth-watering dishes will leave you spoilt for choices.

Located at E.M.Bypass, Sector 1, Salt Lake, close to Mani Square, this place offers pure veg food along with late-night service along accompanied by a cozy dining area. Needless to mention, this is the only place in that locality where you can have a sitting area and a large variety of dishes priced at surprisingly economical rates without compromising the quality and the quantity of the food. So if you're residing close to this place or driving by late night, I would recommend you to try this place out as this is going to be one of the regular places for hanging out. I had a chance to visit here with a group of my old friends and tried out a few of their signature items. Among the lot, I have listed a few with a brief description herewith:

Cold coffee with Ice Cream - Price: Rs. 60

The coffee had a strong flavor where on the other hand the sweetness of the vanilla icecream includes a good balance in taste.

Peri-Peri Cheese Burger - Price: Rs. 60

The bun was quite fresh and stuffing was quite delicious overloaded with cheese. The whole burger was grilled which made things more compact. The best companion dish would be Peri-Peri Masala French Fries, which is priced at just Rs.60. The fries are absolutely crispy, tossed with spicy masala, the fries serve as the best starters. A perfect companion for burgers.

Crispy Chilli Mushroom- Price: Rs. 90

As the name suggests the mushroom blocks were extremely crispy and spicy. The recipe was dry and the dish tasted delicious.

Combi Pasta in Mixed Sauce- Price: Rs. 120

The pasta was perfectly cooked. The taste was quite balanced and the quantity can be served to two individuals.

Veg Fried Rice and Chilli Paneer Combo- Price: Rs. 120

The combo deserves special mention. There was no compromise with taste as well as the quantity of the food. The panner chunks were of decent size and the gravy tasted delicious with the fried rice rich in seasonal vegetables.

Pan-Fried Cheese Momo - Price: Rs. 70

The gravy was totally spicy and hot whereas the cheese toppings added an extra flavor to the dish. The momos are quite authentic.

Hot Brownie with Ice Cream- Price: Rs. 105

Nothing beats a brownie as a dessert. I have tried this out in many places but the size of the vanilla ice cream over here is simply huge. Compared to the price of the item, the dish is...
