Pappu Chai Wala — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Horrible experience at Pappu Chaiwalla..saltlake sector1.this place is opposite Bidhannagar college, near CC1. The owner..Mr.Manish has no class and happily turns deaf to any feedback given. No wonder the staff changes there every week ..no one is possibly able to keep up with such a boss beyond this!!.. The new staff is bullied by the few old ones who are supremely arrogant and untrained. They are not even capable of making chai properly.. their regular tea / adrak tea/ elaichi tea all taste alike. The owner does not know the "C" of customer service and is extremely unprofessional and unpleasant to speak to!! He behaves as if he is distributing free food and is reluctant to listen to any feedback..Not going back to this place one more time.. it's a complete mood spoiler.. there are several other Tea joints in saltlake area like MBA chaiwalla which offer a far better chai with better food and a better experience. Why on earth should one spend their hard earned money only to come back with such disappointing...

Had the worst experience. Their service is deteriorating ever since lock down but it seems like they don't need business and don't know how to treat customer. Every time I go, their waiters don't bother taking the order and have to call them several times but this time it was the height. The waiter took the order but not a single item was delivered to us. We waited for half an hour and followed up several times with the waiter but he just keep telling us that he has given the instructions in kitchen, and he can't do more than that! When I told him that cancel it if you cant even bring single item of our order in these 30 min, not even a tea then he started showing attitude. Is this how you treat customer? Is it my work to go in kitchen and follow up with them as well then why have you keep your waiters for? And the thing is that there was no rush at the restaurant and still such poor service.I will never recommend anyone to prefer pappu chai after...

Very poor experience. Behaviour of manager of that outlet was so horrible. I visited with my friend on 12th nov 2023 and ordered 2 cup of tea and chicken pakoda . They served mustard sauce with chicken pakoda we requested mayonnaise with that they had served mayonnaise in a disposable very small plastic bowl and charged Rs.38 for that mayonnaise. They had not informed that this very small amount of mayonnaise can cost extra which was no where mentioned in the menu . In the bill they mentioned add on cheese. We have not ordered any add on cheese how could they modify??? When we asked for rectified proper bill they started misbehaving. They charged for add on mayonnaise Rs.38 which i couldn't be able to find in the menu . I asked them to make me speak to their senior he said "I am the head in kolkata"

SO PATHETIC...
