The Tasty Cuisine — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

Honest review. I hope that the owner should take this review as a constructive criticism.

First of all, previously this particular restaurant was named Friends Of Pho. I've dined several times there. Now Friends Of Pho used to be an Exotic Asian Cuisine restaurant, serving foods from different east Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and so on. It aslo used to serve some Chinese food.

Now the ownership has probably changed and so the name.

Now they serve plain North Indian and Chinese food. Well, I'm okay with it. However, why The Tasty Cuisine?? What is the USP of the eatery??

My family and I went this evening for the first time at The Tasty Cuisine. The first thing we noticed that the VW truck, which used to be the centerpiece, which was actually the bar has gone. Secondly, the light was too bright at the restaurant, which actually turned down the coziness and the ambience of the place. Thirdly, before they used to serve exotic cocktails, but now they don't serve alcohol. And fourthly, I found out that the service was not at par like before. For example, once all of us had our glases empty and a waiter was standing just near our table, and then after we asked, he served the water. This should have been an observation and a prompt and spontaneous action.

Regarding the food I must say that it was okay okay sort of.... Nothing special. However, I was disappointed with Thai chicken. It was like a Thai chicken in red curry by looks, however, lemongrass, galalgal and lime leaves were missing, and it tasted like a blunt, poorly seasoned and non spicy Malai Curry gravy(As in Prawn Malai Curry gravy). I'm an avid lover of Thai and Indonesian Cuisine. Belive me, I had a lot of expectations, but they were not fractified this evening.

I hope they re-engineer the menu and bring back...

I visited this restaurant randomly while crossing the Chinar Park area, and it was completely unexpected to find such a beautiful atmosphere and classic service. As for the food, I can truly say it was awesome. I am confident that within the next couple of months, this place will become one of the finest dining destinations in West Bengal." Really bakwas!!! Why the hell did Friends of Pho got changed?! It was really unique in that locality with its amazing food and services at such an affordable price. Really a terrible change of ownership. This Tasty Cuisine or whatever just destroyed the main attraction of Friends of Pho!!! Really...
